“Just as much as this stadium has rotted, this city has rotted.” -Tank Oak town use to be all about baseball. Sad to see it crumbling down 😢 As a Giants fan, the bay needs the Athletics!!! There’s still hope the A’s stay in Oakland. Hopefully Joe Lacob takes this team from the horrid John Fischer. The A’s players and fans deserve better.

lol, fun fact, Oakland A’s and raiders games was the best stadium to go to for pre game fun, easy to park for the most part and tailgating culture, no distractions.

Frank you and I both know how hard it is to say goodbye to a stadium you grew up going to and shared many memories with people you love. Shea was that place for us met fans. I appreciate the way you took the fans emotions seriously considering their unfortunate fate. As a Mets fan as well I truly feel for all A’s fans they have been put through the wringer for years. It’s a real shame. The owner is a complete asshole, never cared about winning, never cared about the fan base, never cared about the experience. I pray the fans find peace one day and a new team (hopefully)

So glad Frank got to get to Northern California before the end of the season! Lifelong Giants fan but got to A's games often and went to a few this year. Damn shame the last Oakland professional sports team is leaving. Thats the extra sad part.

I don’t think California is going to publicly fund stadiums anymore. There has to be something for the people. All the other professional sports franchises in California have built or are building their own stadiums and arenas. GSW, Giants, LA Rams, Clippers, etc. I don’t think the State of California is allowing cities to do it. In order to get funding they have requirements to fill that have to be for the people and I think the owners of teams want everything for themselves. So they threaten to leave.
@sebastianbelcher5354Ай бұрын
Great tour! I am sad for Oakland. A dynasty played in that stadium and ownership did nothing for the fans for decades. In AZ now there's talk the Dbacks might leave too. No care for the fact that Chase Field held one of the best world series games ever, just fleecing the taxpayers for more money.
