i recently got the 5700 xt but undervolted it and its pretty much a 6600 now, got it for 120 bucks

Yeah and now you regret it because that 5700 XT can't run Indiana Jones and also RIP for the upcoming mandatory Ray tracing games. RX 6600 can run those and also have Mesh shaders and also RIP Alan Wake 2 with 5700 XT.

Within 10% performance and consumes almost half the power with 1 generation difference is awesome. Also this RX6600 is limited to 100W all the time, so it may have some performance left on the table by doing 120W on a beefier cooled card ;)

On a performance intensive game, the RX 6600 uses up to 130W, but the sensors only report 100W, because it only reports GPU core power

Mathematically in some games it's around a 20%+ lift for the 5700XT. In others it was somewhat lower. Both are great GPUs regardless.

5700XT uses 100% more power for 10% more performances , also lacks hardware ray tracing and shader mesh, doesn't make much sense getting one.
