I'm really routing for Intel, they are on the right path when it comes to price-performance and technology. Nvidia is a complete lost cause when it comes to low-end/midrange cards, especially regarding VRAM limitations and AMD is lacking in the technology department e.g. raytracing/machine learning supersampling.

True, I don't know much about computers nor do I have one but when I was looking online for one a while back ago and found all the Nvidia pre-builts were all too expensive for me even for the 4060 and only 8 vram and for that price is a scam, Which turned me off completely too just stick to console

Their intel CPU is still high priced to some degree. Thanks, AMD, for the competition. Intel would sell this GPU for double the price if there weren't any competition out there. This thing is still a no-go for me, as there is no support for this in Linux.

You couldn't tell me what 8GB of VRAM even means and you're forming an opinion on arbitrary numbers lol Prebuilt computers are more expensive because they factor in labor costs and they can add whatever prices they want on top of the parts to justify you not having to build it yourself. Computers parts fluctuate in price due to the price of manufacturing the chipsets. The damage that crypto-mining and COVID had on the chip industry has yet to fully recover on top of NVIDIA knowing they own the high-end GPU department. There are cheaper alternatives that are more than enough for average gaming, but NVIDIA holds the (expensive) crown of actual visual quality throughput.

This B580 is a game changer. It has tonnes of features, great amount of memory with decent bus at 192- bits. Battlemage looks to be a massive improvement compared to Intel's first GPUs. It is a much more efficient card and sometimes performs much better than its competition - bus size must help. The drivers will keep improving, plus you can OC these cards (from what I hear). Conclusion - ready for mainstream, great buy for AI content producers and a must for PC enthusiasts.
