Hello Paul, I don't want you to perceive my comment as an attack on you, it's nothing offensive, let me tell you right away. I would just like to share my thoughts on your hands and exchange some observations 2:02 it seems to me that betting riv makes no sense, the opponent's range is very polarized, so I don't know which worse hand you want to get a call from here, I don't think BB has ever played like this with a hand like QJ or Q9, and he will still wait a few hands like 22,44 because you will also have some bluffs that you need to bet. Additionally, you probably don't call this hand vs x/push and your opponent may turn A3,35hh or A3,53dd into a bluff and you will simply have 100% fold time there. Carrotcorner also mentioned this in a movie. 2:47 vs rec I always bet with a high size here because the calling range won't change much on such structures and we are getting value from the flop from hands like Ax KQ QT T9 fds where some of them will fold on the turn + we are provoking him to push his chips straight into the middle with the weaker hand. 4:09 here on the river I would play 25-33% and definitely not call it because the fish will almost never find a bluff there. I think that even with Ad here I would prefer to fold. 8:22 here on the turn it seems to me that there is no point in playing a high size, think about how many worse hands there are that will call you and how many better ones that I don't think you will get a call from QQ or JJ very often here. Here, in addition, if you play a large bet with this hand and any better one, it will turn out that you have nothing to play with x/c- T and x/c -r because you will have too many hands such as TT-QQ that you will check against to Kx with which you will be able to freely call to riv, it will end with you being auto-exploited after x on T. On riv I would already play ATss and A5ss and I also don't think he'll want to bluff with these hands because in his eyes you don't play with a line of hands like QQ or JJ, betting with a high size on the turn, so if he knows a little bit about what's going on in this hand, it won't be he was bluffing, if you play x on the river here, you can still have AQ with Qs here and he will bluff sometimes with the hands that I missed, or with some JTss

I don’t think 100bb 2.5x overbet with KQo on the turn would be the best of plays here🤩

@@SprasesAces no I agree, but what value hand wants to XR vs big and then go small OTT?

I personally never bluff River here. Exploitiv it's obv a T or any value all the time. population does not find these folds and also don't understand that their calls get indifferent in theory here. Most of the players see "oh I have trips, if he has a flush he has a Flush" and they click call before ending the sentence in their head. Punt to jam here imo. We should stop thinking in terms of theory and level our selves into blocker theory etc. RnC needs to be played Exploitiv af otherwise you make it rarely above 1bb/100.

Can you stop criticizing your opponent for checking back a better hand? You do that all the time as well. And when people in the comments suggest you should bet for value instead of checking, you always have a thousand excuses to defend yourself. It seems like you're just upset because you lost your chips

This expliot alone will increase your winrate by at least 2bb/100, label all chinese nits and over folding vs them is literally printing. Ive increased my winrate by double just folding va their aggression. Sure i will fold best hand 1/20 times tops. But they always have it, ive never caught one of em bluffing. Not the chinese recs or maniacs. The mega grinders 20/15/7 crew

the JJ v AQ... it is clearly a X back river, ur tilt compromises ur view of the hand. u are basically uncapped as u X all kinds of hands with freq turn.. it's a snap check back, even turn may be a X back

How much does your bankroll normally swing playing these stakes? How many buyins?
@paulpuntsАй бұрын
Usually 3-4 buyins per session. But I’ve had 10 buyin swings in both ways too. Can never say. It’s all 1 long session anyways. You should not really think this way in the first place.
@oldhamer111Ай бұрын
Yes i agree. I became better at cash games when I decided to see it as one long session, only checking my balance every once in a while rather than every day. Defo helps negate tilt @@paulpunts

Thanks for the video! I think in the last hand where villain had TT it’s not the only hand he jams for value. I believe he also has all 56s, 55, 66 that play the same way. Even 22-44 with some freq. I personally overfold these spots already OTT up to nl200 as they play their range very face up. It’s usually the underpairs 77-99 that go for this size as well as the traps. IMO they heavily lack the bluffs on these limits and when they do bluff they opted for a bigger size. With these assumptions in mind I think A4 hits the muck for me OTT exploitatively. As played again this node on these limits is very underbluffed on the R and if you take the entire pool I doubt more than 5-10% of the regs will find a bluff in this line and I will let them exploit me by folding as I am exploiting the rest 90-95% that underbluff heavily.

I would fold River for sure, but Turn vs this small size can never be a fold?
@ivanneytchevpokerАй бұрын
@@chri_zockt Well again theretically its a call for sure. Exploitatively when you breakdown his range in this specific pool where IMO he will lack the bluffs it might already be a -EV call.
