People say she doesn’t play with any emotion. Wrong. She doesn’t jump around and gyrate to show emotion, she shows it in her hands. She is classically trained, and doesn’t feel the need to overplay it in her face to show it.

One of the few channels that puts the picture of what we are watching in the foreground when it is active. I appreciate that! I could sit and watch her play for hours on end. This song is probably the type of music she loves playing. The speed songs she is totally focused, and in command of every chord and note she plays. Like a machine. This song has feeling and emotion. We are truly witnessing greatness. Good job! 👍

Tina S playing guitar gives me goose bumps sometimes... In this song she is maybe even better than usually if that is even possible. And she did even look at her instrument this time. One of the best guitarists (men or women) I have ever seen or heard anywhere. And I have heard quite a lot.

Mind-blowing. Better than Vai himself. A masterpiece. Her slides are as good as Guthrie Govans. Whammybar, bending, overtones, hammer ons, pull offs, the tones, she totally dives into this song - everything's superior. 😲😀👍🇩🇪

It is said that she returned to her true home in another distant constellation, only in this way can the inexplicable be explained, the guitar is just another extension of her body, she was born to play the guitar, she is a young virtuoso , an unimaginable and unattainable talent for the majority of guitarists on this planet, Tina S is definitely an 👽, Mexico

As Rusty said, the person spreading that rumor is a known troll. He was actually banned from Tina's KZbin site. He presents info like he personally knows her, but its all info you can find on the internet. If you can re--edit and just remove that one line it might help with this reaction. As to this cover... this is my favorite, with Altitudes a close second. I love the Beethoven cover, but this has it beat because of the sheer emotion that she puts into it. If the emotion and 'feel' isn't right, it wouldn't work. Same with Altitudes. Vai is a guitar god, but I can only listen to 20 seconds of the original. I listen to Tina's version multiple times a week. The subtle changes she made smoothed out the parts of the original that I didn't like. Vai himself sent Tina a tweet when this first came out. also, she started classical guitar training at the age of 6. she switched to electric at 13. There's a video on her KZbin site of her playing a classical piece at the age of 8. Keep them coming. Tina has a strong group of supporters and we try to show up for any reactions of her covers. I liked the tidbits of info, but just be careful they don't cover up the person's playing.

I’ll tell you what it’s like watching a master chef in the kitchen. This lady is a master guitar player on her guitar she doesn’t need to make facial expressions or emotions with her face because the way she shreds that guitar her emotions go through her body into her fingers and cross that guitar. If you can’t feel the emotions or the feeling through her song through that guitar, then you can’t feel anything I cringe I get emotional I tear up and I get goosebumps when I hear her play this girl is one hell of a Shrek guitar player and I know when they were making these covers on KZbin they had to have the fire department standing by in case that poor guitar caught on fire And I’m being honest this is the best damn female guitar player I’ve ever seen in my life and I would love for somebody to prove me wrong

Just a suggestion for another Tina S song would be Best Of Times written by Mike Portnoy for his father as he was dying of cancer. Puts a lump in throat every time I hear it. I think she was only 13 or 14 when she did it and it shows an emotional depth in playing well beyond her years.
@deansouthwick19062 жыл бұрын
Some folks think she can just shred. Something like this shows her penchant for timing and her pinch harmonics is incredible! I miss her so much! Oh, and she started classical guitar training at a very young age, 6-8 y.o.?
@ypvsypvs Жыл бұрын
I have a hard time convincing myself she's anything but the greatest with an electric guitarr, not best female or in the present - but human... ever. When you concider she has mastered classical, metal, pure shreds, picks. And did the harder parts of Eddies "Eruption" @15y old and 7 years of playing. Something every metal guy with skills and a guitarr tried for decades before anyone came really close. She did at 15! She plays her really technical classical stuff with a completelly different style. Guitar on left leg, metal and stuff with shreds on right leg to be able to really reach deep into the neck with her right hand. Then concider this girl had mastered BOTH to a level that amazes ANYONE alive. No matter who. People with 30 years on the instrument concidered real great have said they just feel like stop playing after having seen some of the stuff she did before 19.... Crazy. I would like to know who would be considered when saying she is'nt best ever all things concidered. Because it's almost disconcerting not being able to find names to pitch her against when all we have from her is from before 19... Right? Amazing skillz...

Well, yes, I really think her version is better than Steve Vai`s (no offence!). In my opinion Steve`s playing is too perfect, too clean to have this amount of soul in that song - and this with Tina S often accused of playing without emotions! What a crude mistake! Now, I really have some interesting recommendations - at least one of them also a little late but - oh man - really worth it! As you are also a songwriter, I`d like to know what you have to say about the composition of a song which a came to love even when it wasn`t actually a song I`d chose to listen at all before! It`s Jinjer`s "Pisces", an Ukrainian band I know for more than two years now and were on a concert of them. Well, apart from a great ability of songwriting there are at least four surprises in that song worth to give it a try. Maybe it`s the opening of another rabbit hole... 😁

Great to see someone who knows talent and appreciates it, as they are prodigies from a young age and brilliant players.
