Everyone talks about how much fun she is to watch -- and yeah, it's true -- but thanks for validating what my ears are hearing. This is fantastic drumming, and she makes some seriously good improvements to the original song. I especially love how, when the original drummer is just keeping a beat, a crazy beat but just keeping the beat during the guitar solos and battle, she's playing all kinds of creative fills to enhance the guitar. It's a lot harder and it pays off so good!

It's always such a pleasure to watch someone react to this who can actually talk about all the little details that make this such an amazing cover. There's a big difference between "wow that was amazing" and "pay attention to the paradiddle roll and the over/under tom to snare fill". She's got another few covers that I really like -- a few from Dragonforce, and then Doki Doki Morning by Babymetal. They're all worth checking out. Every one of her videos is a gem.

Fast, hard, clean, loads of energy and best of all the faces, lip syncing and flailing around all with awesome precision. Not just entertaining though, she's got mad skillz! She wears a lot of wigs for her cosplay hobby. We'll assume this is her real hair. No way a wig survives her drumming! I wouldn't suggest pissing her off when she has drumsticks in her hands...you're liable to get thrashed within an inch of your life! Watch the Dragonforce drummers reaction video to this cover. In our little community of J-rock fans, much is made of the depth of skilled Japanese female rockers. I think it's at the position of drummer that the Japanese have completely overtaken Western rock bands. We can debate individual styles, but when you look at Senri, Junna, Yoyoka and several others, you're looking at a bunch of girls and young women who could hang with any of the veteran Western metal rock drummers, if not smoke them. It's just amazing and makes me just grin. Something in that green tea...?

Hi Nick! Junna is known as the hardest hitting drummer in Japan. On one of her videos, the bass drum beater goes through the bass drum head. She is the original drummer for Kakumei, which later became TRiDENT. A year ago, there was some drama between Junna and Asaka and both stormed off stage. Serina tried to smooth things over, and within a month, Serina and Asaka were practicing together. On the advise of other musicians, they auditioned Nagisa as a temp drummer. After a few gigs, they made Nagisa a permanent member. During the beginning of COVID, Junna did a remote music video with Atsumi Ueda, Rino Hoshino, Yul-rim Lee, and Riku. Ramair3Judge sent me a video of Junna's newest group, but I can't find it. It's kind of Goth Metal with a violinist. I hope she has success with a band and doesn't get stuck soloing. Hang in there and keep drumming! Russ

Your enthusiasm and understanding of your music is a breath of fresh air. I watch drum videos, so I can learn to connect to the other half of the battery - drums and bass need to be locked in, but always do their own parts. Going to sub... gotta see more.
