That's an amazing trip it has taken and a great story with it to boot. Thanks again!

I held my first shiro at CCKS 2018. Saved up for a lil and finally bought one. I think its worth every penny

Thanks for the kind words about my letter, ESB. FYI, the folded paper doc included with Shirogorov knives is not a COA as many think, but a customs document included for Russian authorities stating that the knife is NOT a weapon. Weapons cannot be shipped either in nor out of Russia which is why any knife that has to go back to the Workshop is not shipped but handed off to Sergey or Shiro reps by the US dealer or others at a knife show.

I have a shiro f95nl, s30v and mine has that detent rattle when closed. It was never dropped. My suspicion is it was just caused by normal flipping. I’m thinking the detent has been worn, to the point of the it being slightly larger than was designed for the detent ball. I’m thinking about sending it back, through recon 1, to get fixed. I really hate the idea of being without my f95, but it’s not going to fix itself. It’s a great friggen knife, however. I absolutely love it.

COA paperwork R1 gets is different than if you buy direct from Shiro. All the people out of the US dealers have this paperwork as the one you have.

So... Shiro, Rogovets, Holt or Shamwari? That's my decision for the next knife. Can I get some insight? All are accessable so no wait consideration

I've had a Hati and still have my old school Shami in Damasteel. Shami is a great edc knife especially with the new challenges he made. Shirk is nice if you like bigger knives or have big hands but it weighs quite a bit more. Shami is a custom while Shiro is a midtech(I guess, or factory custom) but both have impeccable fit and finish. My Shami is ground very thin and it's a great cutter, much better than most knives I've had. Shiro is a decent cutter. Depends if you prefer a regular flipper or a front one, if weight is an issue and if you need a great slicer. Good luck.

EpicSnuggleBunny What don't you like about a Sebenza? In other words, if you could change anything or things about it what would you? I personally wouldn't change the overall look but would add many features to make it a better, stronger, lighter, longer lasting knife.

Something from Reate, Olamic, CKF or as ESB suggests Koenig, but you can´t get a Koenig Aerius for anywhere near 500 bucks here in Europe!
@richardhansen16285 жыл бұрын
Just checked the european prices for Koenig Aerius : 825 for a textured titanium, 838 for a blue twill and 985 for a red and black carbon. That´s in euros and with a delivery time of 3 months! I guess i´m not going to have one any time soon :(
