Nah this is the best thing I've ever seen Nmeshs sound is so clean and polished for the genre but also so much depth and soul it doesn't get much better than nmesh for my taste. DDS but thats a different flavor altogether
@we-must-live3 жыл бұрын
i know, right! you would expect all the different contrasting styles to crash together and ruin the experience, but instead you're left with an entirely immersive experience - 4 and a half minutes of terrifying, all-encompassing... feel. that sounded so pretentious - point is, nmesh is a truly unique experience, even in the vaporwave genre!
@taylorskidmore27603 жыл бұрын
@@we-must-live Agreed. I would argue he's the most talented by far at the technical side of producing vaporwave. I dunno what his budget is but his shit sounds as good as any major label recording in existence. I don't even really understand how his sound is so clean, it's baffling. His samples sound better than the original recording most of the time. To be fair they were using 30-40 year old recording technology. But still he is able to sound crisp but still maintain the vaporwave aesthetic

Nmesh's style is fucking awesome. It's dense and vintage yet very three dimensional. I'm a relatively new vaporwave fan but he's definitely my favorite.

Ok all jokes aside this song is mesmerizing as hell
Bear with me as I explain the closed eye visuals I received while listening to this track for the first time. I’m not a crazy smoker, but this night I was properly ripped off an infused joint. I decided to listen to my usual electronic music playlists but this came on as a suggestion (Spotify) At first I’m like, wow this groove is nice! Then quickly caught on to the lack of uniformity. I was intrigued so I closed my eyes and let my imagination create a music video for me. It was far less pleasant than the video above 😂 The distorted samples and lack of familiarity throughout the track gave me a sense of nervousness, almost like the tension was slowly building as this character experienced a quick rise and even quicker fall in their career. Almost like near the end we were on the run from something and couldn’t escape it. The constant need for more that just never came. Each jarring sample gave me sharp lines and aggressive color combinations like red, black, white noise, jagged buildings, and a sea of cubicles we couldn’t escape. If anyone’s ever seen The Mind’s Eye (a 90’s CGI compilation) it was very similar to the segment of bipedal humanoids walking up and down stairs that lead to nowhere and defied gravity. Something about this whole track gave me an uneasy feeling. But I loved the visuals I got and when it was over I kind of wanted to go back in but ask for a raise this time 😂
