@NMRobertRamirez3 жыл бұрын
Guys, this is not played much for white because it is just not a big deal. Let's talk about it. After 4.Nf3 you are concerned about Ng5, but you should not. Here are three things you can do: 1) 4..., Bg4 pinning that f3 knight. Then continue with e5-Be7-castle and so on (feel free to capture the knight if necessary) 2) 4..., h6 preventing their knight from coming to g5. I like Bg4 better because it is more energetic and you are developing a piece. 3) 4..., d5 attacking and blocking the c4 bishop. This one can take you to positions different from the typical Czech Pirc formations, but it is something else to consider. Please, let me know if this makes sense. If not, we will look into it again 👍

The King indian defense is a hyper- modern opening just like the pirc, the main idea is to give control of the center to your opponent and then undermine it. It's a very tactical and aggressive opening because the center will remain closed and both sides will try to win, no draws 😁 for this reason this type of opening is not recommended for beginners

@@beznerwow1948 I see now what you mean. However, this is completely different. Notice that you even have d5 instead of d6 and your castled. You got it, Aryan! I noticed in another comment of yours that you have been looking into this great opening. We definitely have to cover it in this course at some point. What if they take back on d5 with e4? Also what if they never play the move bishop g5 in the beginning forcing you to make the move pawn h6?
@NMRobertRamirez3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Good questions. If they do exd5 at 16:05 then our g7-bishop becomes a monster and we can do e4. If they do fxe4, then Nfxe4 and their c3-knight is pinned. If they do not do Bg5, then we continue with the same plan. We can also do Nh5, which is very popular. The point is that White mainly does Bg5 to provoke h6 and then try to exploit it. If they don't do it, then even better for us. Hope this makes sense 👍
