I agree with several comments, a higher stack on the Kjerag is a shame.

With the Kerjag 2 come with an insole? Love the shoe, but the lack of insole - made me not buy it (theee times!). I o own you could add an insole, but it just wouldn’t fit properly. Just get some in the box would be awesome / be a game changer etc.

What does the term FULLY GUSSETED mean to BITR? To me it means attached all the way up and down the vamp, so no dirt gets in the shoe through gaps in the tongue. How does BITR define FULLY GUSSETED? Example1: The Kjerag1 is *NOT* fully gusseted; it has two thin strips keeping the tongue from sliding, while the tongue itself is unattached and lets gravel in freely throughout its length -- that's BAD. Example2: The LaSp Prodigio *IS* fully gusseted; the tongue is attached to the upper for its entire length, letting no dirt in -- that's GOOD. Which is it on Kjerag 2 ?

The Kjerag is the best trailshoe there ever was, for up to 30km for me ( who says otherwise doesnt have a clue ;) ), and the Version 2 sounds like I can use it for even longer trails. That would be amazing! But why only in July, i need it earlier for some races 😅

Always wanted to try this brand, but do you think it is too low / firm for the 100km ultra distance?

@@johnrose4590I’ve done a 86k in the Kjerag 2 and worked great. 2.0 will go 100k and beyond
@JanSuchomel6 күн бұрын
@@johnrose4590 it depends, I did even 130km in Kjerag the grip in soft mud and snow was only problem.

@ I am a tall and a therefore heavier runner. And for my feet the kjerag is ok up to 40k. That being said, I saw at the eiger ultra last year and the mozart 100 this year some people of all shapes and sizes using the kjerag. So it is definately possible. you probably have to try. What I can add, the durability of the kjerag is thankfully not just marketing blabla from nnormal. I changed the outsole with the help of vibram after 700km, and now have 1000km on them and they are still very good. And thats easily double the amount of kilometers I use other trail shoes.

I agree that is the best feeling shoe, but max distance depends on multiple factors. I'm more of a cyclist, therefore endurance is there but feet are not so used to running. At 75kg 20km in them is my threshold pretty much. These 3mm more in the forefoot could be a game changer, really hope so because I can't really find a similar feeling shoe with better cushioning.

Not sure how the brand synonymous for PFAS goes well with Nnormal's "leave no trace" stance

It does appear Gore is moving away from pfas, announced a few years ago

How can all these reviewers go through Nnormal’s upcoming 25 lineup and make no mention of the Kboix? Is Nnormal not highlighting this product? Makes no sense to me. It’s by far the most forward thinking outside the box shoe for innovation and sustainability I’ve ever seen.
@luciwolte92046 күн бұрын
@@compromisedmission i wondered the same thing. Seems a bit as if nnormal themselves don‘t really believe in the kboix. I was actually thinking about bying them. But now I am gonna wait for the Kjerag 2.

@@luciwolte9204 I’m starting to feel the same way and I have them pre-ordered. Not highlighting them is seriously making me want to cancel it. I feel like they aren’t going to be fully behind the product.

That was previewed at last years TRE and is now being released, so I’m assuming they didn’t want to bring the same thing they brought last year

You can see one Kboix on the wall and some guy touch them ! Just receive a email from normal my Kboix will be in my mail box next week. Super excited

Glad they are moving away from the curved lacing on the tomir 👍👍👍. Can't get a good lockdown in my tomir 1.

More stack for the kjerag is bad news, they’re pretty tall already. Narrow toe and summer-only grip were my main issues with the mark 1. Brute looks pretty promising!

Why more stack for Kjerag? Feeling close to the ground and perfect stability is the main reason I run with it ! I left Hoka and high stack shoes for this reason , more risk of twisting ankle 🤦🏻♂️
