Buying and selling crude in Naira is not really important in the overall scheme of things. What matters is the price you buy and sell! As long as you price your commodity based on your true cost of production and profit, the currency you trade on is irrelevant.

NNPCL is an opaque slush fund aimed to serve the Nigerian political classes. It has no interest in efficiencies that will accrue to the people of Nigeria. Tinubu has appointed himself the oil minister of Nigeria. Tinubu is currently in France. How many times has he gone to France since he was elected about a year or so ago? Why is the Nigerian press not digging deeper into why Tinubu always goes to France?
