Thanks Ben. The best of the summer weather is definitely behind us now. We have already seen eight RHTT sets delivered to Whitemoor in the past couple of weeks plus one that has been in New England south yard most of the summer so we should see plenty of action in the coming months. If we get some freak weather this winter we might even get to see a snowplough, now that would be a novelty.🤣

I try to think of different ways to vary the viewpoints in the limited areas of available access. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't like like last week when I got too close the the Heck Plasmor, by the time the third wagon passed it blew me over, such is the force of the wind it creates.

Hi Mike, staying for a four day break in Peterborough and been given permission for a day at Werrington just wondered is their a best day in the week, and will I need a step stool as I am not a six footer ?

During the week most days are pretty equal although I would probably put Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in that order as the best, very little freight at weekends. Look on realtimetrains.co.uk for an idea of what is passing Werrington Junction, search these three different places to see every train that will pass by Cock Lane , Marholm Junction for the Stamford Line and dive under, Glinton Junction for Joint Line trains and Tallington Junction for the ECML. You will need something to stand on so you can see over the top of Cock Lane footbridge, it is 1.85m (6ft) high, the ramps on the Werrington side are lower at 1.5m and do offer a little bit of cover if it is wet.
