Slowly taking shape, it's worthwhile showing the coats going on to highlight the difference it makes. Great work.

Hi Andy it's like building the bridge you just have to keep going, it would be easier if the bridge didn't have the different leg length. 🤣🤣. Colin

Slowly but surely it's coming together. Thanks for the update Colin.

Hi Robert good evening I am looking forward to some colour, but I must be patient and get all the rock finish in that area and then do a mad colour all at once but it will happen. Colin

Hey, Collin... the work continues to amaze. You are clearly put a lot of time and hard hours in, but it is paying off! I loved the "alpine" comparison, too! I am very intrigued with the waterfall... that would be amazing! Cheers!
@collinsngauge54938 ай бұрын
Hi Anthony hope your both well, I'm looking forward to doing the waterfall because that will be one of the last job's in this area. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm enjoying it now I've got in to the first shed, making the helix last year while waiting for the start help and doing most of the Trestle Bridge and ship even though the ship I don't need yet because that is going into the shed that needs building. That was so I knew if I could get it wright for the scene so I know I can stick to my plan. Colin

Greetings Woodthorp International and hello Colin 🖐 Twenty five kilos of plaster 🤔 I think you might need the full pallet by the time you've finished 😲 Great idea on "Crystal" River 😉 those reflections are a magical touch 😍 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘

Hi Paul and hello from Woodthorp International. Well 25kg is a good start 😅😅😅😅😅. And the river is just for you and I think it's a fantastic idea, and Crystal River is a great name and the curve of the track can be called Crystal bend or Crystal Curve. Colin

Hello Colin, amazing work. The rock face is looking good and will incorporate the trestle bridge nicely. I like the idea of the river reflecting the passing locomotives 👍 Are you planning on using Kato for the full layout or Peco? Will the whole layout be DCC? Take care my friend
@collinsngauge54938 ай бұрын
Hi Deano my thoughts are starting to come together how it would all look but there a long way to go for this area. The Kato track is only going to be use on the 3 helixes and the bit under the Trestle Bridge which Japan will run on. But the rest is going to be code 55 peco. All 4 countries are going to be dcc. All the best. Colin

Lots of plastering going on there Colin! And doesn’t it start to look effective - I was just thinking “Alps” in my head when you joked about the very same! I am really keen to see how the cliff faces progress - its going to look epic. Regards Steve

Hi Steve it's amazing how every little bit I do it changes and how I sore it in my head is coming together. I'm hoping it's a statement when walking into the shed. Colin

Hi Colin! It's all slowly coming together! Only 25 kilos of plaster? You don't do things by halves do you? Lol! Love the idea of a river that will reflect the passing trains! Cheers, Ian.
@collinsngauge54938 ай бұрын
Hi Ian I was thinking of getting 2 bags, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but all plaster goes off even if it's kept dry, now this won't matter to much because I can work with smaller mixes so I thought 1 was best. Colin
