225 gm whole almonds = 8 oz = 1-1/2 c 175 gm pitted dates = 6.2 oz = 1 c 200 gm s/s choc chips = 7 oz = 1-1/8 c 300 gm soft tofu = 350 ml = 1-1/2 c (350 ml equivalent to a scant 12 oz) Just a word of caution - - there is a huge flavor difference between water-packed tofu and shelf-stable boxed tofu. This "silken tofu chocolate mousse" recipe has always worked for me, and no sugar from the chocolate chips. 12-ounce box of Silken Firm Tofu 1/3 c maple or agave syrup 3/4 t pure vanilla 4 T of unsweetened cocoa powder Pinch of salt (NOT optional) Blend until smooth Refrigerate until set
