Hey everyone! I had a card typo and garbled sentence. At 4:11 the card saying 1 1/2 cups of milk is correct but I mumbled the words. At 7:55 the card should say 2 cups 480mL. Sorry about that!

I'm late but how did you manage it? Didn't the filling and whipped cream start losing consistency at room temperature after some time?
@johnmcw.43703 жыл бұрын
@@NazianaMunglee I've made this pie many, many times since Preppy Kitchen released the recipe two years ago... it quickly became a favorite of my family and friends. I usually make the pie the night before but whip the cream just before serving or departing for the party. I typically only bring this to parties where I know it can stay in the refrigerator for an hour or two (e.g., until the guests start eating desserts). Once it's out on the dessert table, it's almost always the first thing to disappear! The few times that it has sat out for a couple of hours, the cream has broken down a bit, but not to the point of being inedible. The filling has always been fine.

Quite similar to my "seventh heaven for chocolate lovers" pie. It too starts with a chocolate custard in a chocolate crust. But I top it with CHOCOLATE whipped cream, and white, milk, and dark sprinkles. Then I drizzle the top with hot fudge. The name comes from the seven kinds of chocolate the pie is made from. I also have a strawberry version that is just as good.
