My mother in law use to make something like this but called it "pastel helado" and we did use the Marias cookies. This brings back great memories! I'll have to check my local store to see if they have the cookies you used.

I love cookies and always keep them on hand. I not long ago made something like this...wanting banana pudding I decided to mix things up and I used these cookies with vanilla pudding (cooked recipe) and OMG...AMAZING and I compared it with the Chessman banana pudding I made later and hands down the coco with the pudding is the BOMB and I will definitely make it again. Now, I am going to try this recipe as I am curious as to how your home made pudding taste. That was pudding? Well, I love condense milk, it makes just about anything taste delish! mine did not thicken. I only had 1/3 of a cube of cream cheese and I used 1/2 cup lime juice. Will it thicken in the fridge?? the first time I made it, it turned out thick.

This was good but I had to freeze it and keep it frozen or it turns to liquid. I used the same measurements you did. I don’t know what happened. You did say 4oz of cream cheese? Next time I’m using a little more cheese.

That Sounds and Looks Delicious. Have you tried a spring form pan? So it' beautiful and can be sliced and served easier? I bet that it would work. I think you could even 'grease' it with Coconut oil and no one would notice. (the penny pincher in me says: pour the sweetened condensed milk in first and use a spatula to scrape it out.... then pour the condensed milk into the SC milk can and swish around until you get everything out of that can and pour it all into the mixer/blender. Just a thought. ) AWESOME Recipe. Great video as always.
