No change between Old and New Submariner 126613LB?

The old and the new versions are very different. I own both the old and new two-tone and the old and new yellow gold bluesy. The blue is deeper and richer. That is why they changed the name to Royal Blue. The writing on the dial is now white. The movement has been upgraded to 3235. The case size has increased by 0.3mm (from 40.2 to 40.5 (they just rounded down on the former and rounded up on the latter), and the bracelet and clasp are wider while the lugs are thinner. The shape of the case has changed as well. So, the title of the video confuses me because they are very different. ;)

@@titi64230 it's hard to say because I like the gold lettering on the old one but I like the deep Royal Blue on the new one. It's a toss up on the proportions...they are both fine in that regard. The new one has the new 3235 movement, though, and that increases the power reserve from 48 to 70 hours, so I'll let that be the tiebreaker and go with the new one.

Old gold texte is not clear to read , new lugs are more nice than big lugs of 116613lb , clasp is better too... Both are amazing but +1 for the last one with out speak about new 3235 mouvement ...

i have the old version, from design it look better with Gold letters. Gold letter match the gold of bezel and make the dial pretty clear. I dont like the white letters, it make the dial really busy with many letters written on it. And the deep blue color of old version look better too. The only good thing in the new model is the new movement

@@WristHunt yes i now, but thats the bad point, the Submeriner has bezel with numbers on it, Lume index is big, both hands are big now there is tiny place left on the dial. I prefer the gold letters hide in the dial rather than the white font pops out

Rolex Two Tone Bluesey is the right Balance, The Blue Dial, The Polished 18 Kt Gold center links, and the Brushed Steel go so well together, and in person it is an amazing watch. The all Rolex Submariner Blue Dial is over powered by the all Gold watch band, The Two-Tone Bluesey is 100% Nicer Looking watch.

Lovely watch - the detail differences 126613 and 116613 are unlikely to be noticed by anyone when they are on the wrist. Personally I like the older maxi case, it was more imposing and substantial.

Most beautiful blue dial I've ever seen. I tried it on at my AD last month and had to take it home. Compared to other blue dial Rolex models like the YM, DJ, OP and SkyD, it's on another level IMHO. It goes from a deep navy blue to a rich royal blue all the way up to cobalt and even electric blue when a direct light hits it. However, if you look at the OP41 bright blue, it changes to a washed out denim blue under a direct light, which I find quite off-putting. None of that with the Bluesy. I didn't care much for the gold in the watch, it's the dial that really got me. Now after a month of ownership I've started to appreciate the gold a lot more and like how nicely and playfully it combines with the blue, even though I just wanted a blue dial Sub in a steel case to begin with. This is my only TT piece and will probably remain so as I don't love other TT models enough to buy them. The Bluesy is the exception to the rule.

I never liked the YM blue...and I'm a YM fan. There is just something off about it and I think the combination of the blue dial and the platinum is too flashy.

@@benfranklin3638 Funny you say that. When I bought my YM40 pt dial 116622 back in 2016, I had the blue dial and pt dial side by side in my hands at the AD. I found the blue dial to clash with the pt sandblasted bezel. The pt dial on the other hand matched the bezel perfectly to give that characteristic albino look, all metal, all platinum. No hesitation for me, pt dial all the way.

I want to rectify something here; Dial color is the same sunburst blue color but the difference is the writing on the dial, previous 40mm had gold while this new has white writing on it.

You are wrong. It's a confirmed fact, by Rolex, that they updated the color. I own them both and they are clearly different. They even have a new name for it..."Royal Blue". You should be able to tell by the pictures but, if you cannot, then you can clearly tell in person. If you still cannot, then I suggest you go see your eye doctor. ;)

Very handsome watch. I purchase the older model 116613LB which is the first generation of the ceramic bezel, AR coating on the underneath of the sapphire crystal, solid links, glide lock clasp, gold text on the dial and the Maxi case which is now discontinued. The new BLUESY 126613LB has the AR coating on the top of the sapphire crystal also which could be scuffed or scratched as to my new 126610LN. Also it has white painted on text on the dial the first generation and the previous generation with gold text dial.

Thing looks like anchor heavy. I Know my wrist likes light fun small size. My eyes say it's to wide can't you see that it to wide. I'd pop bezel see if another model would fit. Costum fiber optic lights for night show you won't believe. After all it's your toy.
