No Compression Minibike Engine, What Went Wrong?

Although my eyes and judgement are questionable, I saw a spark. Time is money unless your a customer especially when they see you're working balls to the wall and want to ask questions about being so busy. In the afternoon, a guy pulled in with 2 kids and a 2 axle aluminum trailer behind his truck. When I asked him what was he here to pick up, he said a red Honda. Since we had 3 red Hondas ready to go, I asked what model, the one I brought in last week. Enough for me, I went over to the other building and put away a bunch of machines! Peace Out.

Hey Steve, Some customers go for the stupid answer and need some time in the penalty box to rethink and reconsider.... U must work in a pretty busy shop to have 3 machines at the ready.... I love the stories! Thanks for the info, Ur thoughts, watching, and commenting!!!

@@HarveySpooner Busy as hell. Thats 3 Red Hondas waiting to get picked up not counting 2 Polaris 4wds, a Can Am, at least one one each Kawi, Suzuki, Yamaha., Kymco and CF MOTO. Hurry to drop them off but slow to pick up and pay. This week we got in a bunch of side by sides and a few dirt bikes mixed in with a couple of sleds. To get a great deal on tires an order was put in for 100 of various brands, sizes and styles. That allowed me to go over to the other building and build wooden racks 16 ft. long with 4 rows reaching about 8 ft. from the ground. It was cold but it was quiet and no customers! Working 6 days and seat covers on Sunday.

There was spark ⚡️ and the retaining clips are about 2 bucks (2) and push rod is 5 or 6 bucks and a new intake valve is around 15 bucks if it needed one , for around $25 you might have a good motor ! I have a few 7,8 and 9hp engines for snowblowers but no 5hp in stock ! Being that Tecumseh was bought out by Husqvarna you look up HSK parts !

@@HarveySpooner that would make for some entertaining videos buddy for sure ! In my opinion that 5hp is a fantastic size for about anything from Agriculture tillers to self propelled snowblowers !

I owned one of those OHV engines in the past, the guide for the exhaust valve wears out prematurely because it's much shorter than the intake guide.

It’s funny I just went threw this for my kids mini bike it busted the valve in three piece probably from not changing the oil

@@HarveySpooner no the governor was still hooked up I replaced the cylinder head it’s been working good I think eather the valve spring keeper broke or the valve got stuck in the guide
