People don't necessarily have to be reminded, either, that the election was very much about the lack of confidence in Ed Milliband, which was what the election showed; not an overwhelming approval of Conservative government. I'm surprised this point was not made.

+Bud Fields (PPTS) The only person who would have really been able to make that argument would have been Vince Cable though and he made lots of other good points. It would be unlikely for the Labour speakers to point that out.

Parents from Pakistan. Why did they leave Pakistan to come all the way to England? Is it because of poverty? He didn`t say.

Denis Charette hey why did the British go land in Australia new Zealand America Africa South East asia and the Indian sub continent ..sorry if I missed out any place. not really to spread love. it was to establish power and take control on resources and land..Australia was used as a dumping ground of convicts from Britain. we know how native Indians in America were gifted with infected clothing and blankets..which resulted in many deaths. your policy of divide n rule in the Indian subcontinent between hindus and Muslims eventually led to its partition india n pakistan in 1947. the world's famous diamond kohenoor now rests in the royal crown I believe..I probably could go on. I mean that's history now but isn't it ironic how the west today stands up and lectures the world on human rights and peace n equality..don't you guys even have a tinge of guilt about it. let bygones be bygones I say.. the guy may never become your pm .however please do not ridicule anyone's integrity.

Most likely poverty. He said his dad came to England with £1 in his pocket. This guy is the rags to riches story. At the peak of his career, he was making £5m a year in a bank.

Denis, you are an idiot. Wherever his parents came and however much they were poor, he is a minister now. His journey must have been tough and long . Try and appreciate the good side.

I agree with what he's saying, but this was such a terrible, cringey speech. Jacob Rees-Mogg's presentation was so much more persuasive.

Nosferatu. Does this word not sound like the midnight call of the Bird of Death? Do not utter it, or the images of life will fade - into pale shadows and ghostly dreams will rise from your heart and feed your Blood.
