...let's be absolutely fair... The man *spoiler* . . . . . . has a hole in his chest about the size of a fucking small basketball... I may even be on the small side so excuse me but AFTER the clear hole in his chest which you'd think would disrupt his chakra. Would lead to him having difficulty opening all the gates. Let alone it is litterally a suicide move... If we went through every deathbattle and just let the losing side pull some bullshit and Sudoku himself for a win! Then it undermines the credibility of the animation. I don't mind the math. I don't mind the way it's drawn out for entertainment and I love it's animation. But this is a seriously stupid way to decide a winner... Could have easily went without the hole in guys chest and I'd been fine with it.

Kingdrago101 you're right. It's not clear. It is VERY clear. There is NOTHING in the MHA verse that can even compare to the likes of Naruto, Guy, Madara, and so on. All Might was way out of his league in this one. Not hating on MHA since I like that better, but the base power scaling in Naruto is way higher than that of MHA. It was almost the same as the dragon ball vs Naruto one, just on a lesser scale.

New rules dictate that as long as one dies before the other then it's not a tie. A true draw has to be simultaneous. Think of it like smash bros where 2 characters get knocked off stage at the same time, but 1 dies immediately to the side, but the other spent a few extra seconds alive because they flew into the background for a star ko animation. In that case the one who died first is the loser and there's no sudden death.

Gotta say, never will understand why MHA think All Might, even at strongest, can tie Might Guy and force out 8th Gate. Hirudora is already shown to eclipse All Might's Plus Ultra, even at its zenith, by several times. Even Death Battle had to multiply All Might's strength several times to get his theoretical "peak strength" before being injured, having to ignore that All Might's Plus Ultra vs All For One is in fact stronger than it was in his prime since he uses everything he had left.

This was a death battle, meaning the first one to die is the loser. All Might died before Guy did, so Guy was the winner regardless of the fact that he died soon after. The Death Battle cast covered that in the Q&A. They also said that Guy using all 8 gates was for entertainment purposes only and that Guy probably wouldn't have needed to use all 8 gates to come out the victor.

Wolf Horn, take in the fact that all night wasn’t at his prime and he still punched a hole in his heart and technically he shouldn’t of been able to activate his gate since he gut a hole in the part where the gates should be meaning this fight was completely biased and therefor all mighty would have won not matter what gate he open might guy isn’t that strong I mean nadara survived his eight gate attack and might guy would have died either way since he doesn’t have nature there to help him out this explains why all might had a unfair fight and might guy was clearly the favorite in this fight making it quite and quite “unfair”.

Also, the fact that Madara (who can drop meteors and go toe to toe with someone who can take a huge chunk out of the moon) survived just barely while One for All was just hospitalized and knocked out shows the difference. Comparing All for One to Madara is the equivalent of comparing a block of c4 to the tsar bomba.
