What amazed me most about this moving is how real it feels to me. Almost every movie the characters do things that are so unnatural and stupid choices that makes no sense. This movie everything felt so real, the way they behaved, the choices they took it all just feels so natural and real. Absolutely amazing movie in my opinion.

I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve watched this… One of my favorite films of all time. So much tension, heavy symbolism, and it was beautifully filmed. Each character was perfectly cast in their own right, down to the smallest of roles. No Country for Old Men is one of those rare, flawless cinematic gems. Most films are considered amongst the greatest of all time because of their lasting influence, or they become a common cultural reference. I think No Country qualifies as one of the greatest of all time, simply for how good it is. I’ve watched this movie 6 times....never bores me. Every actor in this movie was perfectly matched. For me, the old guy in the service station played that part brilliantly! ‘ I gotta know what I stand to win?’ 😂😂😂

I saw this one hungover morning right before it came out in santa barbara. A girl i partied with the night before picked me up in her volvo wagon and took me to a screening. when the closing credits rolled i was shell shocked and sober as a mormon. didnt realize I just witnessed one of the greatest movies ever made.

The trailer does a great job building up Chigurgh and the scene where the sheriff says “he’s seen the same things I’ve seen and it’s certainly made an impression on me” advertises the movie perfectly. The look in his eye says “this is no country for old men”

Like continuously or just like once a year for the next 30 to 60 years or 90 to 120 years or if the singularity hits and you can upload your consciousness into a robot then maybe you can watch it for all eternity and run a little faster than the speed of light into the past right into the big bang and you can bang yourself out in one spectacular fashion while watching this movie. Tell big bang I said hi and be sure to mention my comment to big bang. Tell him I'm a fan of banging around.

For me, this is one of the greatest scenes in the Novel and in film history, . People like Shakespeare and Goethe would have loved it. Not to forget Marlowe. There speaks Faustus, long he forgot that he was once Faust. Now he is the Belzebub.
