@vegasboy59312 жыл бұрын
The only discrepancy is the fact that he waited by sitting on the bed directly in front of the doorway (which could be easily shot through by both parties). Also a combat vet would know to take advantage of the fact that Anton basically doesn’t know where in the room he is waiting, being in a totally unlit room with plenty of cover and obscure spaces. If Llewellyn was a bit more tactical the movie would have ended right here.
@lalli81522 жыл бұрын
@@vegasboy5931 Yeah in the book he actually gets Anton in that scene, but since he isnt yet in full fight or die mode he just takes his shotgun, and leaves him, but he doesnt for some reason check other weapon from him, and Anton shoots him few times from the hotel balcony as he flees with silenced pistol. I think he simply left the shower running, and was waiting in the dark, and as Anton was sneaking to the bathroom he got him, but unfortunately didnt just blast him with shotgun.

We all love this story and to discuss about it because A) Llewelyn is not some can-do-no-wrong movie hero but seems like an actual person, plus Josh Brolin gives a damn likeable performance - - you just HAVE TO root for him. B) we all like to think of what we would have done if we ourselves happened to run into a 2,4 million dollar drug deal gone wrong. And there are NO easy answers except the obvious smart ass ones - summarized as check for the transponder and dont bring water back to the dying hombre. It is easy to spit nonsense but you are not in his position. Plus with all the cold brutality of Chigurgh, he would eventually connect the dots, roam around for answers and probably find out about "that Moss boy who took off two weeks ago without any comment and was carrying a briefcase or sumthn". C) so even with clear thinking, there is no easy answer. Llewelyn could have tracked down a transponder and made a run for it but would he move to a Carribbean Island carrying that type of moNey? Or bury it somewhere to lose track of Chigurh for a year or two before starting to invest? Interesting dilemmas, no clear answer. But this movie is about YOU and ME because admit it or not, every one of you is seeing themselves in Llewelyn's position.

This scene is like a sabre duel. Chigurh outsmarts him every step of the way. Turns the lights off in the hallway so he doesn't see his shadow, hits him with the lock but doesn't get hit with return fire, waits for him to run out through the backdoor instead of chasing him down the stairs like Llewelyn expects, doesn't follow him behind the corner as he expects, instead going out the hotel entrance. Only in the end Chigurh gets complacent and gets outflanked.

In spite of owning six infinity stones, Thanos even needed some money to live the rest of his life. Thus he stole money from a freaky crime who sweared that he would butcher Thanos when he got him. The film is the journey of Thanos in which he tried to get away with what he had done. You will see the final fight of Thanos and the man with his wierd gun. That's amazing kkk

At the 1:53 mark, no way Anton's Chigurh's silenced pump shotgun firing slugs holds that many rounds without reloading.

Great scene. Lots of tension. But he should have switched his position up in the room. Either kneel on the other side of the bed or push it out of the way and get on the floor. Then aim at the door. The moment it opens and you have something in your sights. Light em up!
