Back when i was a teen i was arrested and on the way to jail after court in the transport van was over an hour drive. I realized under the bus seat was these thin metal strips that held the material to the seat base and beside that were these small springs that held in the foam. All of our cuffs were double locked and because we were young offenders they really didn't watch us that much. I managed to get my cuffs off but i broke the center pin with the spring by forcing the double lock back the other way. Worked good to open it. I forced the pin back in a bit with the corner of the window but I'm sure it fell out next time a key was used. But i figured out how to get the cuffs off at that point. So i being as i was pretending to sleep the whole time. This other guy behind me heard all the noise i was making and he seen I wasn't really moving alot, he asked me what I was doing so i told him and briefly showed him my free hand against the window. Anyways he slides under my seat and puts his hands near mine and i got his cuffs off him. We enjoyed the rest of the 45 mins with no cuffs on.. We go to get off the bus and we hand officer chouh the hand cuffs as we pass the door and boy were they pissed. We got searched and the white shirt guy asked us who hooped the hand cuff key. Eventually i ended up having problems with this one guy who just didn't believe me i had taken my cuffs in the van and we were pretty close to fighting because he just thought I was lying. One day in the main lunch hall he sees me and wants to me to throw up my dukes. But i got no dukes to throw. Then all of a sudden dude from the bus comes up to me and turns out the bus guy was a friend of the angry fella. In a weird twist he told buddy he was the one whom i had helped take the cuffs off. I basically had no issues with anyone after that cause everyone on those 2 ranges heard what i did. Anyways thanks for reading.

Cuffs are usually double locked, meaning that it can’t be shimmed like this due to an extra mechanism. The best and easiest measure would be to carry a handcuff key. Edit: I’ve noticed a handful of folks don’t believe this, so I’ll include a link to a website here that shows graphics of the inside of a double lock handcuff. www.art-of-lockpicking.com/how-to-pick-handcuffs/ You can see from the design that the double lock mechanism creates solid pressure on the single lock, preventing it from moving at all. It can’t be further tightened or loosened when the double lock is active, which makes shimming impossible. An example of the way this works would be if you were stopping a door from opening in a small room, and if you placed a piece of long furniture against the door that was against the opposite wall. The door wouldn’t be able to open inwards, so the only way to open the door would be by moving the furniture on the inside. This website suggests lock picking instead as a method to get out of these, which would be similar to that in this analogy.

You can literally do it with a shoe lace, you can pick a handcuff lock like it's nothing too. Just need a piece of hard plastic or metal and hit the little latch inside the hole. I've dealt with a lot of inmates and the various things they've done to pop their cuffs. It's quite interesting

That is called shimming and it only works if the cuffs are not double locked. If they are, you need to be careful and whack the cuffs hard in the correct direction (without hurting the person in them) to disengage the double lock and then you can shim them.

Heads up tho shimming a pair of restraints like this only works if they dont lock them with the key. That little spike on the end of a handcuff key is to flip the locking mechanism in the small slit om the side of the cuffs. Most cops dont do this for people who arent actively resisting.

It's an actual literal pulled out of your body direct one on one conversation, nothing you can miss. nor misinterpretae. The vast majority of christans never bother to do what God wants seriously, so most never get this revelation. To most outside church their Bible is a paper weight, or at best a virtue signal. Their religion is in what other people think about them, not their relationship with God. Please do those steps I mentioned, there really is a Divine Revelation waiting for all of us. There's extraordinarlly important information we all desperately need in this revelation, but those who get it are forbidden to share it. The Truth that Jesus Christ is Lord is written on every human heart. We all have that knowledge inside us, but we bury it under mountains of pain and anger. Those steps clear away that garbage inside you, letting God heal you, so that his words boom clearly inside your soul. The entire point of our existence here is to Trust God enough that we pay him this mustard seed of Faith, so his Grace can remove the stain sin has left on our souls. Everyone that does not get this Grace is not forgiven of any of their sins, even if they turned around and we're the best person from 25 to death. Without Grace those first sins are still counted against you, tying you to the devil's punishment. It's not about being a good person, It's about being forgiven for when you weren't. The Bible is Truth. Please do those steps and see for yourself. Please take your salvation seriously .
