I got to see No Doubt live for $5 back in '92 and I remember this was my favorite song :) It's funny because back then I thought they were selling out with Tragic Kingdom. Of course now I like it all, and I can laugh at the style we had back then. So glad this was posted, totally brings me back to the day

What an interesting look back at an amazing group and performer. They sure came a long way from the early days. I didn't discover these songs until after Tragic Kingdom but I've always enjoyed the songs from the initial self-titled album and The Beacon Street Collection.

This is vintage No Doubt. I bought their first album after Rock Steady came out I and still think the first one is one of their best. Gwen was so young and looking hot as usual.

She can sing, she isn't an amazing singer, not in the least. Joan sutherland, has an amazing voice, and is an amazing singer. she might not of started out manufactured, but she started changing the bands style as well as going into solo that fit the mold of what would sell.

This video isn't great, but you should check out the album version, it's awesome. If you listen to No Doubt's albums in the order they were released (even into Gwen's solo stuff), you can see a very clear progression. It's pretty cool.
