It is a great product I think a lot of people will like. Made in the USA.

Hey I’ve seen this before!

Yes Sir! It’s rather universal.

@@CAVCOP It is close to being a one size fits all. There are some exceptions. And I"m developing a 2.0 version that is a minimalist version that has been taken trimmed down a bunch. I will be unveiling it later this year. When I can think of it I'll send you a picture of the new design.
@CAVCOP10 ай бұрын
@@TherapyRange I was going to suggest a two options, maybe one slightly wider at the top 1/4 and longer/larger one, with same clamping width.
@TherapyRange10 ай бұрын
@@CAVCOP I use an 870 stock to mold from. I have noticed there are some stocks slightly thicker, I'd just have to find one that I could get on the cheap to mold from. And know the buyer needed a bigger option. Could get confusing trying to keep up with who needs what, people trying to return wrong size. Ugh. I'll think about it.

@@TherapyRange I think slightly wider at the top (not the top-top) might work with taper to clamp with the Velcro. Like 2-4mm but.. might be too wide for levers and .22’s. Keep what you got, and see if people want/need wider. I only tested it on my smaller Remington stocks. I have some bigger one I might try it on and send photos later, if I remember.

While I have your attention I’m looking to buy a pdw/pcc im liking the stribog sp9a3G what are your thoughts
@CAVCOP9 ай бұрын
I don’t know much about them. I have seen a lot for sale and trade, and they have made upgrades. The CZ Scorpion and Stribog really don’t appeal to me. I know early ones of both had reliability and parts issues.

How’s it with recoil? I’m looking to get it for a 45-70 and a 12ga shotgun I often use slugs through
@CAVCOP7 ай бұрын
I would assume your cheek would move with it. If anything the Kydex might flex more than a solid wood or fiberglass stock. How heavy do you rest your cheek on the stock? Odds are once you start shooting with it, you won’t even notice it’s there. It seems to hold up well so far. I could see needing to replace the female Velcro if you removed it and put it on a bunch in hot weather or a dusty area over a year or two (or have to trim the fuzz off it, based on prior experience ).
@alecubudulecu7 ай бұрын
@@CAVCOP yeah I think Velcro has a rating of like 1,000 uses or so before needing replace. Not sure how that translates to use like jerking it back and forth and friction with recoil …. But I’d imagine it should still hold a few thousand rounds. At that point ya got other issues (like barrels breaking down). Thanks!
@CAVCOP7 ай бұрын
@@alecubudulecu it should hold up well. No issues with my 12 GA shotgun cards that have more weight under recoil. The cheek riser has Velcro on each side, and kind of clamps to the stock. In a 45-70 lever gun, maybe not as much clamping, but it should hold fine.
