Exactly what I’m looking for to put on my Henry 22. I was gonna use sling studs but I didn’t want to drill the wood and then have to worry about re-sealing.

A no-drill sling is a good alternative to drilling into your stock, and ours fit very securely and are hell for stout. Brass Stacker also makes a decent no-drill that is more economical, from what I've heard. :)

Very nice I like the tube clamp rather than the wrap around the barrel

Any chance you make this for a Henry 22 Magnum lever carbine. My dad just got one last week, this sling would make a great Father’s Day gift.

I have the same gun. Do yourself a favor: Just get the Uncle Mike’s sling kit for Henry 22s, and shop for a nice leather sling on Amazon. (Forget the bullet holders.) It’s only one little screw you have to drill for, and since mine has a butt cover with cheek pad, that permanently installed rear swivel (I leave the swivel on and attach the sling on this part), it does a great job of keeping my butt cover from creeping forward or back. Also, using a sling is only a sometimes thing for a lot of people.

Hi Susan - we would be happy to do that for you if you'd like. The only trouble is, we're a small custom shop and due to high demand there is just no way I could get it to you by Father's Day. My waiting lists are currently out to around 6 months I'm afraid. Let me know if you're still interested and I'd be happy to help out!

Hello HHL, is this genuine leather and do you make no-drill slings for Winchester 94 models? Very interested in purchasing one or two of these beautiful slings
@HellhoundLeatherCo2 жыл бұрын
Hello Antonio, this sling is crafted from a full grain veg tan leather. "Geniune leather" is actually a trick word that some manufacturers use to describe leather that has been "chewed and glued" like a chicken nugget or plywood. They take all the scraps and leather shavings from other processes and add adhesive and press it together. Then they deboss a pattern on the top to resemble the original cowhide and finish it, claiming that it is genuine leather (which technically it is). Sometimes "genuine leather" falls apart shockingly fast. The leather we use is straight from the tannery and is a "full grain" which means that its the complete hide of the cow and includes the top grain (which is the very outer skin of the animal) and the strongest part. As for crafting for the slings for the Winchester 94, I would be happy to do that for you. We will need to arrange a few things - please email us at gavin@hellhoundleatherco.com.

Beautiful work, but you have to go back to the drawing board: Not adjustable? And the bullet holders are totally superfluous and bulky, especially since these are tube feeders. Plus I gotta guess this thing costs a pretty penny!
@HellhoundLeatherCo2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the feedback! We're a fully custom shop, so when folks want an alteration to the sling such as adjustability (or even a new design entirely) they just ask and its not a problem. The shoulder pad is an add-on that folks can choose to include, or not, at their discretion - although the vast majority prefer to include it.

Doesn't it hurt your shoulder on the recoil?
@HellhoundLeatherCo3 жыл бұрын
I haven't noticed any discomfort myself, and we haven't had any complaints from customers, so I have to assume that the leather on the butt of the rifle doesn't cause any undue pain. That being said, it is a rather heavy weight of leather (10oz) and so might be uncomfortable for some. If a thinner leather harness would be preferable, we are happy to do that for anyone that requests it.
