Hey Mykola! I've been looking for a good option to install a no-drill trem on my Tele, and this one kinda looks good. Thanks, it's very helpful! Keep doing the good job!

Wow so little views for such a cool cheap trem. I'm gonna pair one with my G400 Pro, I use a Duesenburg les trem II on my other SG and it also is an amazing product, it has a different look and is alittle more expensive. Good videos dude!
@bumblefritz2 ай бұрын
Yes! I use the Les Trem II on a couple of my guitars and it is a really great vibrato. Both cases I was able to pop it in, no setup needed. I may be acquiring a guitar with an X-Trem already installed and I'm hoping it works nicely.

I just got an ad on Facebook today for their newer ones that mount into your stopbar bridge studs. Got a Chinese muslady LP (built from kit) I'm intending to slap one on to see how well they work.

Just to clarify, this is an alternate for a Bigsby bridge. Is it okay for you to make a video about electric guitar wiring systems? (I had my Gibson SG's circuit broken, which also means that it's unplayable)

I liked my GFS trem at first. But I live in the South, in an extremely humid area. The trem is over ten years old. Sadly the GFS trem has corroded very badly. Now I will replace with a solid Gibson type Stop-tailpiece.

P.S. I am sure my SG was a reasonably well made, but cheap clone. It was pretty beat up when I bought it years ago for a pittance.
@jeffmckinnon58422 ай бұрын
A genuine Bigsby, which is cast aluminum and precision fitted parts, is hard on sustain, and has tuning problems to sort out, so how could this possibly be better? The good thing about GFS is their return policy, which I learned when I bought their best quality locking tuners, and the posts actually bent when I put strings on the guitar...

Did you have to change the bridge to a rolling bridge?

I was wondering that too

Thanks for this review. I just got one of these and installed in on my Gretsch Jr Jet but am running into an odd issue where the arm *tightens* itself after repeated swinging movements. To the point where it gets really stiff and difficult to rotate (and ends up pulling the strings out of tune). I'm guessing there's something weird with the washer/nut stack but was wondering if you have encountered this. The issue becomes more prevalent when the strings are fully tuned and at tension. It seems the spring is loaded pretty heavily against the arm and puts additional pressure on the washer which ends up making it more difficult to turn. Did you make any adjustments to the washer/nut stack by chance?

If you hold a bend on one string, do the other strings go flat till you release the bend?
@coreyrenstrom3 жыл бұрын
Did the strings pop out of the saddles when you do strings bends on the fingerboard ? The break angle doesn’t look like to pits much downward pressure over the saddles

How does it compare to just using a Bigsby B3?
@MrHardguitar3 жыл бұрын
The difference is about $100 😂 But, to be honest, I can't answer that question. I was considering buying Bigsby b3, but then I saw this vibrato. As I said in the video, I'm happy with this thing.

If you look at the holes for the strings, they are in a straight line, which is not good since when strumming and bending a chord the note relationships are destroyed. I wouldn't buy this.
@placeholder86717 ай бұрын
How's that different to a regular bigsby or les trem?
@justtinkering67137 ай бұрын
@@placeholder8671 It's a mathematical thing. If you fret an E major cord then activate the vibrato, some strings need less bending and some more. The E major won't sound like an F major the notes from the individual strings won't match up. Not hard to understand. It only matters with chords
@radosawpendziaek75034 ай бұрын
@@justtinkering6713but this applies to all tremolos - Floyd Rose, Strat, Kahlers, Bigsbys... The only one I know that would hold tuning chords while changing strings tension would be a pedal steel guitar (which is not tremolo in any way), b-band, Duesenberg double string bending bending stoptail. Then there is Virtual Jeff - digital whammy processor (similar to the pedal) with an artificial whammy bar sticked to guitar (even stoptail tele or LP).
