It is reasonable to demand fair pay and especially the deactivation on a whim is oppressive and must be outlawed. However, they are sorely missing the elephant in the room: The insurance companies and leasing companies that charge you arm and a leg. They are literally robbing drivers with unnecessary high insurance premium and ridiculously high weekly leases. A gas car could be for $500 a week lease, plus gas weekly from $100 to $300 or more for average driver eats into the drivers revenue dearly.

New York survived, and thrived prior to Uber, there can always be another car company. Remember the "Yellow Cabs", go and find them now.
