Masha Allah good mum and doughter good opinions to help your people to save them expenses
One thing you should put in mind, is the batteries are not to be put on ground because they loose their power quickly, I think it is because of gravity. Some experts used to tell me. They prefer them on a woody surface not even any aluminium related thing. Your mum is a genius! Maa shaa Allah

Asalamu Alaykum, This a great illustration of how the green energy could be benefitted to those living in the most abundant isolation areas in the world. Somalia in General and Somaliland has one of the highest sunlight energy in the world which last all the twelve months of the year. This type of videos raise the awareness of our people to opt for the more environmentally friendly sources of energy which is also economic wise decisions. Kaafi Solar is one of the leading renewable energy companies in Somaliland and encourages rural population in the country to own their own small solar systems by paying in installments. For the urban areas, the company has all the different solar solutions; residential, commercial, water pumping, heating, cooling, etc.

If more families do this they can then connect to the main electrical grid. This will make use of any unused Solar electricity and get credit back. You will need a meter to calculate how much you produce and use.

yep. saving money and helping nature. but cheaper solar system would be that you don't buy batteries, you connect to city power lines and you sell energy you make to others and when you use it they calculate it back.i don't know if this is possible in somaliland, maybe they don't have it regulated like this yet.
