Had a no AC at my daughters home last summer. Checked breaker, was on. Took condenser cover off, no power on load side of contactor which was closed. Disconnect was old with fuses. No power on line side of disconnect. Went to breaker panel. Turned breaker on/off. Still no power at breaker terminals. The breaker connection to the buss bar had burned off damaging the bar at that location. I relocated the AC wires to the dryer breaker, same amp rating. Told her she doesn't need the dryer for now. She had the breaker box replaced.

Hey GFM! Long time fan! Question for you. 410 Copeland compressor package unit with a txv. Getting low head pressure high suction pressure. I’ve already replaced the powerhead. Checked every possible thing I can check. Pointers? Everything seems to be running fine, but the pressures are way out of whack. 160 suction, 375 liquid. Point me in a direction?

Superheat where is your superheat? Subcool, where is your subcool? Outdoor ambient? GFM

Count the number of connections on the three POSTS if unable to read the top of the capacitor. 4 on one post, 3 on another post, and lastly 1 on the third post (fan)

You are not telling us WHICH terminal (name of terminal) you are testing.

It does not make a difference for this situation. The cap is open, no power can go thru. GFM
