Hey easy guy! I've been told that some technicians while replacing COFs use solder for the PCB side while they use necessary ACF tape for the glass side. It seems to be a way to reduce the cost of repairs. Maybe if we all learned to do manual bonding, we do not have to buy ACF for the PCB side. Do you not see that this guy is doing amazing repairs using just simple tools, even though he has bonding machine? I wish I could be as good as he is, I wouldn't even need to purchase expensive bonding machine!

Hmm... If you only knew the stress of using bonding machines! For example, this repair doesn't require taking the panel out of its backlight - PANEL IS SAFER. I do not have to worry about dust contamination while doing it. It takes far less time compared to using machine bonding. Doing microsoldering/manual bonding on panels is super easy for me that I can even do it on my own brain with my eyes closed😀.
