No Fry Kadhi Pakora | बिना फ़्राई किए कढ़ी पकोड़ा बनाने का ऐसा तरीक़ा आपने देखा नहीं होगा | मेघना

No Fry Kadhi Pakoda I always felt guilty when I was asked to make kadhi pakora because of so much frying involved; and would feel so heavy in the stomach with rice, besan and gallons of oil that go with pakoda in it. But not anymore. This is No Fry Kadi Pakoda; made with few drops of oil for the entire family. Serving: 3-4 people along with rice Ingredients: Curd 1 Onion Coriander leaves Haldi Powder (Turmeric powder) Lal Mirchi Powder (Red Chili powder) Dhaniya powder (Coriander seeds powder) Salt Green chilli 3-4 finely chopped Besan (Chickpea Flour) Oil garlic cloves 3-4 finely chopped Curd Pinch of asafoetida Water Method: We will first make Pakoda mixture In a bowl, take 1.5 tbsp curd Add 1 finely chopped chopped onion Add 1 finely chopped coriander leaves Add 1-2 green chilli finely chopped Add 1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric powder) Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder Add 1/2 tsp dhania powder (coriander seeds powder) Add salt per taste Add 4-5 tbsp besan (chickpea flour) mix well Add water in parts to make a soft batter To make this batter soft you can beat it for 15 minutes OR you add a pinch of baking soda (khane ka soda) to make pakoda soft Leave batter aside. Now to make Kadi, In a bowl, we will take 1/3rd cup curd Add 1.5 tbsp besan (Chickpea flour) Mix such that no lumps are left Add some salt Add 1/2 cup water to make the mixture thin - we will be adding more water as we cook and boil kadi Take 1 tsp oil in a pan on medium heat add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera), 1/2 mustard seeds (rai ke daane) and some fenugreek seeds (methi ke daane) Once you hear crackling sound of cumin seeds, add a pinch of asafoetida Add 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves Add 2 finely chopped green chilli Ensure pan is slow flame else garlic will burn Add 1/2 tsp dhania powder (coriander seeds powder) Add 1/2 tsp Haldi powder (turmeric powder) Add 1 tsp Mirchi powder(red chilli powder) Add some water so masalas don’t get burnt now add the mixture of curd and chickpea flour into this pan Add another 1/2 cup water and let it boil Keep stirring the pan so that curd and besan don’t get separated due to heat Simultaneously we will also make no fry pakora on appam pan Keep pan at slow flame Place a drop or two of oil in each cavity and fill half of the cavity with the pakora batter you will see pakoda rising due to baking soda or aeration keep turning the pakoras as they get cooked on all sides Take pakora out Keep stirring kadi and add some more water Now add ready pakora into kadi and let it cook till you get one boil Kadi Pakoda is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and chili. Enjoy with rice or roti or just only kadi pakora without any guilt as this is no fry kadi pakora.

Shall we add onions in khadi..same khadi ki jaise hum besan ki chutney banathe hei but we add onions in that..quick n tasty whenever we get bored of regular veggies we can make this..
