Good video bro I'm experiencing no heat either in my older truck sat to long. I'll try no thermostat. Then if heater core is no good would drip on your feet. I use antifreeze in there. I just need to run it first go for long drive will work it's way back to normal

You can do the other way. there is heatercord 2 holds on the fire wall. flash out with the waterhole back and forth until you see clear water. Your heater cord is blocking like now. when you done put new antifreeze 100% PRESTONE and fill up with water. You should have every HOT HEAT. GOOD LUCK FOR SURE**********

So I got it done. Flushed well but still no heat. I discovered that the heater core valve was broken and therefore stuck to one side. I took the screw off and using a flat screw driver turned to open. Got hot air now. Will need to replace the valve though. Thanks though bro!

Yes. termosttas was blocking, dirty water, and heater cord crore up. Yes you will get heat after you flash out the heater cord. Please use 100% Presto anthafre

Steve Walther : Yes *Steve* Heater cord link? use PRESTONE SEALER without anthafre, much flash the hold engine out before use it, turn the heat switch all the way up. Turn Engine on 20 to 30mins, and drive 6o miles per hour on HWY. In 3 days, drend water out and put new 100% PRESTONE anthafre and as up water. Good luck

Please don't use concentrated antifreeze you must mix with half distilled water . Use 50\50 if you don't want to mix the concentrate with water .

I had heater core blown out, it’s back to no heat ..... I think that might be a leak in one of the radiator hoses.... temperature gauge was going up and down.....??? I don’t understand what’s going on with it .... the reserve was empty to , I added some more coolant

OMG! "Don't be like me" he said. He wants us to do this, pull HOT hoses with bare hands and risk burning ourselves. Put dish water soap in the anti freeze line. Its not even in a reverse form, which is the proper way to clean out the heater core. "Wait for all the water too come out, I mean all the soapy water to come out and then what. Vicente Sanchez There is typically a switch around or near those two hoses. Some are electric, some are vacuumn, and others use a cable. When you turn your temperature setting from cold to hot, this valve will open or close. Easiest way is to have someone watch under the hood while you turn the temperature knob from cold to hot and from hot to cold. If it's not working, depends on the type you have on what to fix. But a temporary fix is to remove the switch or hose and manually turn it for cold air or manually turn it for hot air.
