No Heat | Reznor Shop Heater Repaired!

Worked on a razor heater yesterday fuse popped. Took amps of the low voltage, looked for rub outs.. ntn … just found spade not connected all the way on the gas valve..I was out in January too for a blown fuse.

Yea those ones are tough. I had one once that would blow every couple weeks. So I put 3 amp fuses after every low voltage component so the next time it blew I know which component blew it. Ended up being a rub out on the high limit

Alignment for sure, but make sure you blow out the burner. Being welding going on in the shop I would have brought fresh air to the inlet of cabinet

I've seen this before and this is what happens to a gas valve when you don't back hold it when doing the gas piping just a crappy intaller.

Mildew refers to certain kinds of mold or fungus. Treat them the same.

Somone had to have orientated that gas valve like that, or that's a serious quality control issue on nortek. In theory the inducer should pull the gas evenly, but i hate to see an orifice not lined up properly. Also looks like a lot of pressure on that burner manifold piece, scary
