They’re not scared of a camera, they’re scared of finishing up on a video like this viewed by 50 k strangers insulting them for doing nothing wrong. Also, as a woman, I’ve had unknown men approach me in the street or in a public place, or at a historic NT property, and asked if they may take a photo of me, some have had their wife and family with them. They seem genuine so that’s fine. You get other weirdos who try and photo you without you knowing. They are the ones up to no good. However I would not agree to be interviewed on the street by Sky news, or for any television or internet piece. You are turning these people into unwilling actors in your drama, without paying them a penny. They just get abused for it by your fans.

@Hitstirrer10 ай бұрын
@@mikegraham8319 Nothing has changed. It's just that the 'perceived' right was challenged in law and refuted. The only difference now is over places that are private but that offer public access for obvious reasons - such as sales areas. That public access then allows photos in the same way. But if the owners ask them to leave then the usual trespassing laws kick in. They still don't realise this. All they need to do is ask auditors to leave and then walk away. Observe, and then if they don't leave the usual police action is available to remove them. But, as in this case, they don't invoke that formal " Leave' option and instead stand around to debate a law that they don't understand. And always get it wrong. Standing in front of a camera and demanding not to be photographed is where auditors get their income from. Ignorance of the law and ego make good content.
