To think I saw your first video about thyroid because I have it. Then I progressed to your makeup videos. So I tried the ballet and never dreamed you would be my teacher. Thank you a million times.

Dear Kathie, could you also make a no-intro but with talk version? I always find your speak-alongs so inspiring, just like in a real ballet class, but I don’t want to have to skip so much every time I use the full version.

I agree with other commenters on the changing outfits! Very cool. I'm thinking of taking up ballet again after a 14 year break. I want it to be fun and empowering. Thank you for being so inspiring and sharing your gift for both teaching and ballet. You are so graceful and positive in your videos 🌷

Anytime is good as any! I am 55 and took medal tests successively from 2014-2016 and have been dancing on and off aside from the last 9 years when it’s been 2 classes a week. Katie is very inspiring and provides great sets. Absolutely wonderful. To give her time to do this, recording it and demonstrating such well thought through examples such as this adagio requires a heartfelt thanks ✨

From a practical standpoint, changing leotards for each exercise is great. As I skip through the video, I can see the progress through the exercises.

these no intro videos are the best because it’s just watching katie dance for 15 mins straight lol

Dear Kathryn, Are you interested in creating some video courses on floor barre? It is difficult to practice intermediate barre while standing due to my knee injury. 🥺
@esstown2 жыл бұрын
Your dancing has improved since you've eliminated the exaggerated bending of the knee when closing your 5th position. I realize it was a technique issue for you due to the shape of your legs, but now you are no longer bending the knee more than necessary and it makes a huge difference to your look.

I will add my kindergarten teacher called in 3 ballet teachers to meet with me and my father after school. They tested me physically and asked me to join their school but said I cant do other sports. I wish they had not mentioned that.I said no. Now I fulfill that dream. age 62, Thank you.
