This is amazing! One of the reasons I will never understand why people say there is no good music any more. You just have to look a little harder.

This Time yup, laura and jasamine were in a band called Bad Flirt which i just came upon by accident this morning.....its different music but just as good. Charly Bliss and Speedy Ortiz are my current faves......they are better than just about anything any more :)

+This Time I'm in my forties, and if there's one thing that's been consistent in my life, it's that people have ALWAYS said "there's no good music anymore."

+CT68 i am in my latter 40's and im going to 6 concerts in the next month and a half. ive never been this excited about music. i will see NO JOY for the second time this year in about two weeks. at years end i will have gone to 10 shows. music is better than ever and their are lots of alternative genre's. shoegaze and noise pop...alt rock.
@BohemianConspiracy9 жыл бұрын
+This Time You're completely right , there's plenty great modern stuff... It is just a matter of patience and researches... However i understand more somebody in his mid 50s and beyond who tell me this... it is just normal than older people get more nostalgic... There's as well many people who thinks the contrary.... I mean young people who listen to modern alternative rock but do not know much older rock n roll (before the 90s for exemple) and this is another mistake as well... Those who just look at what is modern but do not explore previous decades are not that open minded
@TheBart123329 жыл бұрын
+This Time There is still enough good music. This band should've been really big in the early nineties. In what is popular music just made a shift, like it always does, and most people seem to like what's now popular. Well, so be it. But actually really good music doesn't disappear at all. Listen for example to a band called Nothing. They are amazing.

This audio clip is featured in a tool song, I can't remember which one though. Bills hicks is also referenced in a Built to Spill song. "I think Bill Hicks was right, about what they should dooo" - I think referring to how they should squeegee their third eye open with some psychedelics.

I like to think not ALL good albums were made 'thanks to drugs'. Also, not all musicians are junkies. On a side note, what makes me feel drugs are the best and the worst at the same time is that they make you think most things are GREAT, when they are not... Anyway, nice song and video, i can say that being sober :)
