Kathleen what a great video, I took notes. I have never made a steampunk journal. I am retired so I can't afford all those beautiful printable kits (I do this as a hobby I don't sell, I gift and it keeps me off the streets most times). Hi Kathleen. Your video today was so helpful in understanding the essential elements of Steampunk. I am definitely getting better idea of the steampunk concept and what it entails. I particularly liked the way you improvised making gears and using items such as the drink can and the nut container inner seal to make elements. I love your very creative solutions, and it's my belief that when you use items such as the ones you showed, the end result is definitely a one-of-a-kind piece. Also, since I can't write short, I want to say that I loved seeing the kinds of books that you found. I doubt I would have considered that index book with all those listings of numbers, but what great pages it will make. I'm going to have to open my mind to these kinds of possibilities. Thanks so much for your inspiration.
