No-knead crusty buns! Best easiest bread you'll ever bake! Only 4 ingredients!
Ingredients:
1 + 1/2 cups warm water (350ml).
1 tbsp dry or instant yeast (7g).
1 tsp salt + 1 tsp sugar.
4 cups flour (480g).
Bake at 190° (375°F) for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Take one piece and form a ball. Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet with flour. Spraying water on buns. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Use a sharp knife to cut a slit across the top of the buns. Bake at 190° (375°F) for 20 minutes.

I i am from French Canada, Quebec. Since young i had a bakery, cake-shop, cheese and yogourts-shop and jams, marinated veggies, and so on. I loved bake breads of all sorts, all bio from stone-ground-flours. Now i am old and bedridden in palliative care at home with my daughter but i love to watch bread recipes from around the world! I have just baked these and I am so glad I did because they are absolutely scrumptious. I think I probably put a little too much water in, but nevertheless they turned out like big baps with a crusty top - delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

I've never had good luck baking bread until now! Mine did not come out as golden brown, but they were still crusty and absolutely delicious and soft on the inside! It reminds me of home so much ❤️ thank you for making an easy, straightforward recipe that works!

@@Brasslantern007 I only cooked them slightly longer but I did not want to dry them out. Ovens and altitudes based on where you live can affect the outcome of things like baked goods as well.

For many years I have been using almost the exactly same recipe except that I mix everything in the food processor until absolutely smooth. NO kneading needed. I also boil the risen buns in boiling water, 1 minute per side. This bagel technique makes wonderful crispy rolls. I also bake them in my cheap toaster oven -- max heat --which saves heating the large oven.

@@bluehannah8696 Just boiling water, not even salt. Mine look exactly like those in the photo above. My cheap Oster toaster oven, max heat, does a perfect job with just a few min preheat.

@@annamoonsammy4692 I leave mine for 25+ min but I am at 1500 mts elevation which affects baking. Also, since I am shamelessly lazy I make my dough in the food processor, process untill absolutely smooth. No need to knead ( :) ) at all.

Great recipe for those who don't own a stand mixer. For warmer climates (or summer), you also might decrease yeast to maybe 2 tsp. I baked at 400 deg.

I used all purpose flour and water temp. of about 100°f. They are the best rolls I have made. Next using same recipe; a loaf!!
