I can't believe how much I missed out. I got there around 4.30pm Saturday. Managed to get into the Pokéstop shop. Was still very busy, picked up like £100+ of stuff to buy. Had the cash on me, not an option for buying with real money which was a complete let down. Pay by card only is very limiting in this day and age, especially seems as it took 2 hours train journey (inclusive of timing to get from station to station, wait times and walking distances) I think if it had been also pay by cash, they would have doubled their profits for sure. On the bright side I managed to meet 3 people I had never met and had a few TCG games, because obviously I brought my cards. In fact I was hoping to meet up so I could get an Autograph and say hi. Also got to see some of the Aceus VS Heatran movie that was being aired outside. Due to lateness I didn't get to go into the outside Pokémon area. It was probably pay by card as well. It's frustrating that the only time this shows up in the country I come to buy stuff and literally couldn't, there were some exclusive items that cannot even be brought online after the event. Pretty cool T-shirts, a few plushies and Card sleeves / Boxes for 2022. Other than enjoying a few games it seemed like the travel there was a waste. Thankfully some items were available online which I was over the moon with. Picked up the Team Psychic shirt (which I love due to Gardevoir and Alakazam, Radiant Eevee box with game mat and a couple of plushies. They should hopefully host here again soon and upgrade the pay system to cash and card. Cash is legal tender and refusing it is technically a criminal offence due to it having the queen's head on. Plus updating it into the the newer notes for our country seems pointless if less places are accepting it. It's like do events like this only want to make half the money they can make. I had fun with the bare minimal I could and got a few great pictures. Though if I do manage to go Japan for the next event, hopefully I can spend real money and also buy some English cards, buy some of the London 2022 left over items that weren't on the website. I think they'll have so many T-shirts and other items left and won't just throw them in the trash. As for your video, it actually showed stuff I didn't get to see which looked super fun. I enjoyed about 50% of the 5 hours I was in the area. Next year if I manage to get to the next event, I shall come better prepared for the 4 day event and hopefully leave a 100% more happier person from the Adventure Lost Origin looks like it will be a great set. It has some cards that I am excited about to fill the gaps in the Gen 1 -151 that I am missing, Vileplume, Parasect Aerodactyl and perhaps a few others. Let's hope there's a NidoKing and Nidiqueen, because I literally have a some Nido family from Gen 1 2000 / 2001 - Jungle - Fossil - Team Rocket cards which I hadn't finished the sets to. until last year around late July I didn't get back into Pokémon really other than playing Stadium on N64 and now I have like 3 full folders in Pokédex order (Also arranged HP, and Attack damage order) Hoping Alakazam shows up in this set and Unown. 2023 will hopefully bring Sprigigato to TCG. Love the Channel I watch videos on the daily from you, still seeing vids that you posted a while back that I ain't ever got round to watching.
