so some background information for those who don't know: when ford got pushed through the portal he entered the nightmare realm, and then spent the next couple of years exploring different dimensions. in one of these dimensions he was saved by a mysterious women named the oracle who ford believes is bill's equal/opposite or something (can't quite remember). she helped ford and made a prediction of his future saying 'you have the face of the man who will defeat bill'. and even helped ford get geared up to fight bill (by putting his metal plate in)

GALLOWS!!! I LOVE You! Drop Another Animatic And My LIFE Is Yours!!! Also! I love the implications of 0:26. Where the Oricale SAYS "there is a world, where I help you get home~", but SHOWS Ford killing Bill with the Quantium Distablizer, rather than him coming out of the Portal. Because Ford had no plans to "get home". He believed and accepted very early on, that this was a 'one way trip'. So he decided to dedicate the REST OF HIS LIFE to defeating Bill. But like the double meaning of the song; things don't go as planned.

In this song I like to imagine the first section to be about the past, but the next later section to be about the future. Surprisingly fitting for Ford’s story as well. Future ideas: “Past romance” could be and Bill trying to get Ford to join him (Or Fiddleford’s reunion for those Fiddauthor fans like myself) “Sacrifice of men” Could be the zodiacs being turned into tapestries “Portrayals of betrayals” Stan and Ford fighting maybe, or just the final deal (showing the Pines brothers being the one to betray Bill this time) so it could transition to the next point “Brother’s final stand” Stanley aboutta PUNCH Bill “Brink of death” could be the memory gun “Draw your final breath” Stan getting shot “Makes it home alive, but it’s no longer you” Ford and Stan at the end of Weirdmaggeddon together, with Ford changing drastically from what he once was. (The good ending!)

i swear. epic the musical and gravity falls have so many similarities. after a dastardly betrayal from some one closest to him, a wise, curious, and over confident adventurer is sent hurtling through X, coming across adventure after adventure, eventually finding his way to an oracle that gives him cryptic messages about his destiny, playing with words that don't properly portray the identity of the subject of the prophecy. this over confident and self righteous adventurer had dealings with an all powerful being that whispered in his ear, manipulating him to do things that seem wrong and vile, giving him information that he values highly. this being has the ability to manipulate time to an extent, allowing them to appear in the minds of their target which allows them to subtly pass of information and the adventurer has a relative who is a lot like him in many ways, but he deals with self-confidence issues, being rather introverted and socially inept, but despite that he's rather optimistic and adventurous. this boy is very insecure about his strength and masculinity. also, i just checked and the first half of legendary just screams dipper. will you make that animatic next?
