@@randaru1527 funny how you sound like you don't know anything about the game besides the"launch bad" bandwagon. How about you go watch Internet Historian's video on it, it's not sponsored and gives a pretty comprehensive history on what happened

@@phifred5216 Imagine constructing your entire argument on a baseless assumption, and then expecting to be taken seriously by someone whose mind you are trying to change. Ironically, you also seem to be the one who "don't know anything about the game"(sic!), if some meme video on youtube is the extent of your awareness about the actual game's problems, and not, you know, over 200h of time sunk just into the latest patch alone... Speaking of bandwagons, have you actually tried to evaluate, for example, what was promised vs what was actually delivered, and at what quality, before becoming yet another rabid fanboy who is ready to embarass themselves in front of total strangers on the Internet just to defend their favourite brand?

I think it’s more like paying off your enemy after they’ve beaten you into the ground. Shame, this episode feels… rushed? Or maybe the fact that it was inspired by a lot of cash instead of an epic joke that came to Kyle in the middle of the night.

And there are plenty of games out there that was being over-promised and did not deliver and is still praised (like Fable 1), but atleast these devs kept working on it (and still are) to deliver what was promised. I enjoy how both the lone hero gets made fun of, but there are also reasonable points made through absurdity about how the game does tie you down a lot more now. Space mayor, space freighter owner, builder of a base with staff, all giving you money while you yourself do only the odd job for them - i don't mind it but I didn't really expect it to evolve into space capitalist sim, but the original idea of self dependence in a world of infinite resources is close to a libertarian fantasy, and that can't scale without turning back into something involving some sort of more controlling... Ah, woops. years worth of musing about the game in my head has spilled out into the comment section. How can I turn this around. Um. Those uncharged batteries are bugging me.
