I recently got it from a used-game shop. I was mesmerized with the visuals and writing to go along with it. I really does feel like like a big, living sci-fi book, being able to fully visualize all the crazy sci-fi explanations you once had to picture in your head.

I remember that my friends and I were mega hyped for the release, but none of us ended up buying it. I now bought this game 2 days ago and I have sunken so many hours in already. The game now easily exceedes everything that was initially promised, yet I really hope they keep on developing it. I'll even pay some sort of dlc price, if they can then keep on doing what they are doing.

It is genuinely such an honor to have such a fantastic game continuously get more expansive as time goes on, especially considering these updates are all free. I think every gamer on this planet owns now a copy of NMS, and new gamers will buy a copy soon, because of the great reputation and endless update circle of the game. This game gets never old and is always up to date, also in VR. I love it!

7 years. I was obsessed with NMS for nearly a year before it launched. Watching every preview, interview, really obsessed. When the game launched, I spent 90+ hours playing and while I did enjoy myself it was not quite what I expected. Hell I was so inspired by Sean Murray that I tried taking up coding by using Ruby on Rails for a few months. Was not anything I had true interest in and I went on to other interests and hobbies... but that is the impact this game and its creators had on me. Now 7 years later, I without a shadow of a doubt know that the passion and love that I recognized in Sean Murray before the game launched, holds truer than ever today. You are more than a video game creator. Thank you.

Also, the ship that the character is in at 0:35 is named as a golden vector.... That seems strange & out of place...
