Some things learned: The old "Use 5 distress beacon maps" trick for quick scrapping repeats still works. (Use the map with E, ignore errors and keep pressing E until all 5 different POIs are mapped, then just flyby the two crashed starships until you figure out which one has a pilot and ignore that one in the future. Now when you mash E after scrapping a ship, it'll just mark the empty crash site because the others are still marked on the system map). Also, the "15 nanites" option at the cartographer is still stuck on one type of map per space station, so if you find one that just gives distress beacon maps... 15 nanites and repeat until you have a stack. Not a bad way to quickly build up a supply of scrapped parts in a system.

Well, on the new stations i miss the back rooms a lot, the space bars, the Atlas Pass room, the tables and seats. Only Gek seem to have seats now and they seem to be always the same. The 2nd market terminal is also gone, often it got additional things to buy. I also do not see why it needs another terminal for ship building, this could have been added to the existing ship modification terminal and color change should have been also possible for existing ships. Some of the new stations got colors hurting my eyes, lol. So in summary, i want the old stations back, yep.

This was a lot, and they seem to have rushed it just a bit (station titles are still placeholders), so we’ll at least get some fixes shortly. Multi tool customization next?

I guess we will see... This is a nice update and I love the Stations - But it also is something that will lose its novelty soon, especially once you crafted the ships you wanted.

G'day mate, just noticed that there may be a nanite glitch going on in the new spacestations. I started with just over 1 million nanites, and I bought an S class pulse engine mod. I then sold it back, now my nanites are completely mixed out, 4. blah blah billion, I hope this helps. Love your work by the way.

So I just sold a s-class upgrade for like 5 billion nanites. But it said I was selling it for -22 nanites. I have pretty high ranks with everyone. I also cannot buy any upgrades. Everything is in the negatives. LoL.

I've been in a station with different multi-tools on each side of the merchant station. IE: Alien and royal on other side. Not sure if it is a bug.

4:17 - 11,760 nanites for an S-class ship is absurdly cheap. Used to be, if you liked the look of a C-class ship but wanted it in S-class, you had to pay a ridiculous amount of nanites to upgrade it. Heck, for S-class ships in general. I haven't run the numbers, but I think if you want to buy *any* S-class ship, it's now cheaper to convert units to nanites and buy an S-core than to buy a ship. I didn't see a cost for assembling the ship.

I'm hopeful that they expand ship customization to all ship types. I think it would be a good chance to expand the lore and the worldbuilding, especially with the living ships or the sentinel ships. I'm thinking they could add specialized locations in space or on planets that can modify special ship types that the normal stations can't

I think we aren't done with customizable things because I have an odd feeling that first is ships, then tools because right now it makes no major sense to have two multi-tools on a space station for now, and we'll end with freighters. Last one is thinking too far

Honestly, I always assume it is not HG that is the cause of this but the platforms itself slacking behind - But as there is never a confirmation about this, we can only guess. I hope Xbox and Switch follow suit soon.
