This is the building guide we've been missing. So many videos are just how to glitch stuff. I've been wanting something about just neat design tricks to make best use of the parts available.

Your skill at free placement is extraordinary, I've been trying to duplicate some of this, but it's EXTREMELY difficult; I do a lot of glitch building, but this is WAY harder...
@roamingspacecat3 ай бұрын
@skellnehausen it definitely takes a lot of patience. Because I've been doing these technical builds for a while now, I have a bit of a sixth sense of how pieces will land. I've also turned my controller sensitivity down, which helps. Just practice, and don't give up. :)
@Bladecutter3 ай бұрын
After praising you yesterday, I have to "report" after having tried to duplicate your designs. You have the patience of a saint! All that free placement makes the build very difficult. Personally, I think that you and the viewers would be better served by limited glitch placement. Second, please avoid the use of legacy parts. Many do not have access to these parts and are unable to duplicate your design. You have a good eye for design, the details in particular. Please be certain that we can benefit from your skills. I'm only sending this because I know that you are new and deserve to be successful. You have defined a niche that others are not addressing, the natural looking base, and that's an important first step. Good luck with your new channel.

Ridiculous comment.
@Bladecutter3 ай бұрын
@@therighttobeleftinthecentr9083 care to expand on this? I'm sharing my experience. I love the design. I want to see more of his work. But I, like many players, simply don't have access to legacy pieces. So obtaining this clean look in this manner is impossible. While watching Beeblebum's latest build tutorial I learned how to use "middle" wall pieces, and that is progress towards the goal. As far as free placement, it's simply very difficult to get right. Any two panels can be out of alignment three ways and it's a challenge, at least for me, to find the perfect view where I can check all three at the same time. I'm not suggesting that he never uses free placement or that he turns this into another glitch building channel. I'm simply suggesting that if a simple glitch will properly place an item, that is preferred to free placement. I hope you take the time to respond because if I'm being unreasonable I want to be called out.

If you're on PC you can restore the legacy pieces with mods or a save editor quite easily. Pretty sure some save editors can also enable access on console saves, if you have a usb drive to transfer your save to a computer and back again

@KearaLaChelle the resizing glitch works for switchs and buttons. However, there is a certain size you can scale it down to before you aren't able to attach wires to them anymore. I'm not sure why the game does this.

@@roamingspacecatI’m sorry, I mean Switch as in the Nintendo switch! I’m trying to do the resize glitch on the floors and the nutrition processor for example. I know there’s an adjacency glitch (for example, I can make the illuminated pot super tiny or big, press ZR + ZL together and it will go to the next item in the line- fireplace- and make that huge or super tiny) and I know how to center items (like a small floor panel in the center of a large one) but items that can’t be resized, I don’t know how to do it on the switch!
