@@Meriliremor, draft/cube. It’ll never happen though. MD will only ever support the most current format. We will continue to get the events but, MD is never going to support any alternative formats. It’s stupid, definitely but, anything more requires development and it’s pretty clear that development, aside from the continued addition of cards, has basically ceased.

can't believe Gage would dismiss Silent Swordsman. If that guy stays on the field for just one of your opponent's turns, he's gonna be a headache to deal with. Very worth playing if he has enough warriors, which he does. And if it doesnt survive that long, it floats into Silent Swordsman L5, which he also has!!! It pays to read the cards that you pull, is all im saying EDIT: noooooo Farfa could've burned for game in Game 3

Funny that Farfa says his deck doesn't have grind game when both wins were basically grinds. The duel against Doug reminds me of Yugi vs Kaiba with 1 3k beater trying its hardest to breakthrough an impenetrable wall to get at Farfa's low LP.

I knew it too (I'll never stop questioning why an OTK archetype has a monster that skips their battle phase) but knowing it and remembering it during a duel are 2 different things and what happened to Doug is exactly why i don't play runicks, whether as an engine or as a deck coz i know I'll get screwed over by forgetting that effect at some point in a duel so I'm not willing to risk it

@@inimfonabasietuk617 Galaxy Eyes has a history of cards with weird restrictions like Photon Vanisher not being normal summonable. In this case Photon Jumper is clearly built with its search effect as its purpose. It's just funny that the bad secret effect nobody should ever use anyways happens to come with that restriction.

@@RiderOmega i actually don't think vanisher not being normal summonable is weird since they give you an easy means to special summon it, same with thrasher. Also I'm pretty sure kite used Jumper in the Zexal manga and it actually had that restriction (it's been a while since I've read the manga so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he used it), so basically Konami wanted to create the card as it was in the manga but realized no one would play it so they added the search effect as an incentive to play it which is why both effects have nothing to do with each other, that's my theory anyway.

@inimfonabasietuk617 Jumper being a manga card adapted for modern play with an addition of a new effect is a good reason for it to be the way it is, but I would argue it is still weird for a card released when it was to have that restriction even if it does have a reason. Vanisher I do think is still weird just cause it released in 2018 and usually cards are more powerful than it before they have that level of restriction. Photon Orbital was released in the same set and even has a non-OPT equip effect. Abyss Actor Melomadonna was as well and she is more restrictive, but she's an archetypal Monkeyboard while that card was banned as hell.

Definetly one of the greatest series out there! The cool little synergies every one of you guys have mae the game so fun to watch, every card counts... HOOOOOOLY! Also it feels so cool that the series actually feels that any of you could win it, the thing with saga (Which I also love, don't get me wrong) is that, sometimes 1 of the players can get a craaaaazy pack while the others are playing just ok decks depending on the pulls and packs they go into, so at in this one every one feels at kinda the same power lvl! Big congrats for Doug for making some quality content out here!

@@TheHuntersKnife If you're not playing with Runick, the odds of you needing to go BP each time are near zero. Gives your opponent another chance for phase-specific effects, extends the duration of the game, just a lot of extra movements.

Since, unless specified otherwise, it's something every player would do. So even in TCG you'd have to remember to declare it, until people started to skip the skip.
