For me it worked just for turning the port from PC to port on Monitor and vice versa,i found out that problem Was a bit damaged port on PC that cant work properly connected to PC

Hey I have an old gnr pc monitor from my grandmother, trying it out for the time being I bought a vgi input that has the other end as a normal hdmi for a laptop but it keeps saying no signal and idk why, I only have one hdmi port in both the monitor and laptop and I can't seem to see what's wrong, another vid said changing the display/menu bit works but that just flashes no signal on and off for me

these cables often are too weak to actually support the monitors needs, especially if you cheap out on them

I just got a brand new ROG STRIX G15DK_G15DK and i plugged in the hmdo and everything else says no signal even tho thats a new hdmi cable its plugged inti the gpu and into the right slot on my tv and i tried all the different ports on the tv and still says no signal do u know whats wrong the pc boots up and the fans work and the pc has power going through it anyone knkw any foxes
