Hello all you beautiful people and welcome back to the channel! Where honest unbiased reviews are what we know best aside from making parts for you and your beloved wheel!
Enjoy this quick overview of the mten4 connector fix or the "Clip Fix" I'm calling it. I designed this to prevent the connector separation issue many of you including myself have been dealing with.

Fantastic idea and design. I just received my M 10 4 a week ago. Not sure if I will have that issue or not but it would be nice to be prepared in case I do. please tell me how I can go about taking care of the shipping cost. Thank you in advance for.

Cut it out today at 35km/h and I just stuck to the asphalt with mten4.I was lowing it but now I don’t recommend anyone anymore which is not safe!The brand has to do something with it except beeping 3 times in a second before cut out.İt is just trying to kill someone.Begode! İt writes top speed 57km/h which is a lie with cut out at 35km/h.

I'll talk to them when I get down there, I've had way thick envelopes with folder docs sent to me via letter mail just needed more stamps but stamps are typically based on weight. I'll throw the file on thingiverse at some point too

I send them out with every mten4 order from my Etsy. I'm sure they fixed it but it's easy to take the top of and check if the wires are long enough

When this cutout occurs, is the wheel still able to turn on afterwards? This happened tonight and I’m trying to find out what happened. Hoping this will fix it? Love the wheel but that was very scary

I have the same question, I had a cutout during an acceleration test but the Mten4 turned on right after.

I had an Mten4 cutout last month, and coincidentally I ordered your bumper cover off Etsy and was confused about what this add on part is. Thanks for sending it out free! I had a cutout on the Mten4 last month, and since usually ride an InMotion V12HT so I’m used to more power, and figured user error was the cause. I was doing an acceleration test on the Mten4 at 70% battery 200LB rider on a mostly flat concrete basketball court, with a few cracks. The cutout happened after about 10 ft. at max acceleration, but unknown speed. Now I wonder if the loose connector could have contributed? I was able to power the Mten4 back on without repair, immediately. Does anyone know if cutouts from that loose cable generally require opening the case and fixing, or just powering back on is sufficient after a bump in the road jostled the cable? I would love some help diagnosing the likelihood between loose cable, aggressive heavy rider, or a combination of both factors causing the cutoff.

Best thing I recommend is to check out my Etsy and see if there is anything you need. If you place an order I throw in the clip fix free. I checked with USPS and it's to thick to send via letter mail and I really don't want people paying $6-20 to ship such a small part. The pads on the one in the video are both prototype pads. The purple one in the pics on my Etsy is the extra comfy pads they tapper out 15mm thicker at the top for more comfort

With the headlights shrouder am I still able to lift up the wheel gripping from the headlight? Also am I able to move the headlight up & down?

This video and comments have me a bit nervous. I just ordered an mten4. Should I be worried about cutouts more than on other models? Is this just a precaution or does it resolve a widespread manufacturing flaw of this model? Thanks in advance

It seems to be a 50% or less of the battery wires being to short. It's an easy fix and something you can easily do at anytime. I love the mten4's and would never say don't get one.

Typical gotway problem we used to always open up all are gotways when I used to ride them a couple years ago... ZIP tie all of the connectors and then we would put extra silicone on everything just because they do not care about us they care about selling Wheels....
