Vince wasn’t very creative but he was a smart man because he knew how to actually book PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS. He’s not perfect but calling them sport entertainment was actually logical.

Triple H & Nick Khan are really good at seeing the macro play and I feel like thats where they thrive the most. Shawn being a wrestler's wrestler (not being the big muscular type like Vince loved gives him a unique perspective on booking talent) is very good at the micro. Kudos to A-Train and the entire team down at the PC. There doing something special down there. I feel as though its time for Hunter to let his best friend take the reigns on NXT, Raw & SD (micro) while he focuses on PLEs internationally growing the product long term (Macro)

I don’t understand why Hunter can’t ask Shawn to help out with creative on Raw & Smackdown… I’m tired of seeing NXT talent go down the drain when they are called up.. and that’s been happening even when Vince was still around. Now I was familiar with Hayes on NXT and I had to watch the WWE playlist with him and Trick to learn more about him. But he’s good… but it’s crazy when he comes out…he gets no reaction from the crowd. I think is Trick comes up he will automatically be placed with Melo again. Dragunov was a beast on NXT from what I watched but he gets called up just to lose everytime… I hate it

I think it’s less about Triple H, but NXT vs Main Roster as a whole. HHH has the same issue as Vince when Vince was running the MR and HHH was dealing with NXT. He doesn’t really want to use the NXT 2.0 folks except his favorites, similar with Vince only wanting to his favorites from Black and Gold.

NXT when HHH was booking is a completely different show. If anything, there’s such a variety of characters in NXT now. They may not be all ready for the main roster, but they are independent of storylines. Lash is still the Bougie Bully during her past few weeks on the main roster. She didn’t need some long drawn out storyline to develop the character. Meanwhile, almost every call up from HHH’s NXT are completely interchangeable outside of gender. The other thing HBK has on HHH is that there’s a feeling that something WILL happen during the NXT shows. And you never know when it will happen. Meanwhile, more people are recognizing how little is going on.

He books for things to keep it going. They had some major turnover the last few years but because HBK keeps it going, the shows still move on. And HBK isn’t come complicated Booker. Two people run into each other backstage. They have a match the next week. If the match is any good, the yell at each other the following week to start feuding. If the match ain’t good, both people go their separate ways. Andrade/Knight/Melo have been squabbling for months now. Does anyone really remember what has happened so far? Compared that to say Da Family vs Obi…

Triple H isn't creative or wise at all. He shouldn't be in the position he's in. He's bad at his job. Shawn is way better, he should be the booker for the main roster. They should let Booker T book for NXT. And completely get rid of Triple H and his team. The unnecessarily long storylines are ruining the WWE. Its all still going on, feeling slow and endless. It becomes boring, tired and even frustrating. When Tiffany actually do cash in on either Liv or Nia, it won't be big and shocking because we are expecting it. They should make changes to that storyline. Maybe give it a plot twist. I think Triple H is keeping down some wrestlers for spite at this point. Austin and Montez, funny how under Triple H they have become jobbers and they get little TV time. The only new/younger guy getting push and won a title is Bron Breakker and that might be because of nepotism.

This why I feel Triple is going to fumble Dominik’s booking. Booking him as the WWE’s ladies man is fine but I feel he’s character has not gottten as much progression as it should from this current Liv/Rhea storyline. And what was the reason of having him go 1 on 1 with Priest and win to later get pinned by Priest on the Fatal 4 way. IMO that’s another missed opportunity to build Dominik as credible ring performer

I don't think long term story telling is an issue, i think it's fine, Even if ITS TOO LONG. I don't think it's bad. However, I do think HHH Doesn't take risk, his always playing it safe and catering to the fans. I'll be honest, I don't want Old Bloodline vs New Bloodline for Survior Series, not this year at least, but we are getting that, and I don't like it. Story feels rushed. I never had problem with long slow paced story, long as it's rewarding by the end point.

While I understand and I think Shawn is less predictable, I think the fact that Triple H has to worry about more with the main roster is most likely why. If Shawn was in his position, he'd have to worry about more as well. Shawn only has to worry about NXT. Triple H has to think about Raw and Smackdown and the majority of ples. I'm not saying I don't disagree with the booking style and on who people like better as a booker. It's all preference at the end of the day. All I'm trying to say is that running 2 shows is tougher imo. That's why sometimes Smackdown is better than Raw and vice-versa. He has to think constantly about 2 shows. As for who I think is a better booker it's tough to say I enjoy both styles for different reasons but I will say Shawn is more entertaining to watch most of the time because idk how things will go. However, long-term storytelling Triple H is fantastic at that.

Honestly the Wyatt 6 is already stale and serves no purpose anymore. Sorry to say but too much storytelling is a bad thing. If you ask me Bo Dallas seems small. His build makes him unbelievable as a serious threat. They still haven't found a solution for his stupid wig. It's not all HHH's fault, the whole roster was on pause during Roman's run and there was only 1 championship belt. It's like the economy, The top guys stayed on top and the middle class got knocked out. So many talented guys remained stagnant for so long "we" stopped caring about them. A lot of ur arguments are flawed. -Vince built stars based off of who he liked. -During the worst times of raw he kept wrestlers off tv if they got over on their own. -Vince also didn’t see much in John Cena in fact he was close to firing him but Stephanie McMahon helped Cena find his groove. - Roman reigns was pushed as a white meat babyface for years which the crowd rejected but Vince STILL kept him as a face. Until Roman himself had to go to Vince and tell him otherwise - Austin Theory was getting over pushed by Vince to a point it was hurting him. Money in the Bank 2022 literally had people walking out after he won. Him losing that briefcase the way he did is still dumb tho. - Vince would often book out of spite just to pop a cheap rating. -Vince has hurt tons of talent due to his booking to the point some of them haven’t recovered (Karrion Kross, Shayna Baszler, and even Asuka) -NXT is essentially the playground where they can have fun and enjoy themselves but once they get to the main roster it’s a completely different beast. If the crowd doesn’t know who u are then there’s a huge possibility ur not going to last long. HBK even said that - The IWC doesn’t care about superstars and the way their booked they care about the flavor of the month and who they like currently it’s why stars can never be booked -it’s laughable that u think Vince made matches based on what made sense because he didn’t he made random matches just to fill a card. - There’s been documented times where Vince is forced to make drastic decisions based off of the crowd’s hostility. - The main roster is filled with casuals that don’t necessarily watch NXT all that much so u can’t just give a wrestler a belt like it’s nothing. - People swear up and down they want a Montez Ford singles push but the moment they give it to him they’ll turn on him I promise you -Also every booker essentially plays favorites this idea that u need to push someone based off of who the IWC likes this week is bad business. Rhea Ripley is a star and the live crowd loves her, Seth Rollins, The live crowd loves him; Damien Priest, the live crowd loves him; Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Tiffany Stratton, Jey Uso, Bron Brekker these guys are over with the live crowd and that’s what matters.
