I think it's more about destroying boxing (and everything that was once good in the world) in general. For all of us who watched boxing prior to when Lennox Lewis retired, we lived through some amazing times in boxing. They want those memories gone. We haven't had a legit heavyweight champion since Lewis. No disrespect to Klitschko. It's a shit show now and I won't even waste my time watching it. It's being done on purpose.
